Caved in and got red-Meister at the sdcc for $45: The kewlest freebies at sdcc-05: Alot more people this year than last year's, but the cosplayers didn't really impress me this year. Bunch of Narutards wearing their headbands and the regular StarWars-fanakins. Tiffany Taylor was charging $10 if you want to take a pic of her with you. Stacy Keibler was HOTTER! Nothing much else today at sdcc. CPM has a $10/dvd sale going on at their booth. Including NuTech stuff, too, iirc. MediaBlasters were doing a $20/dvd on their titles next to CPM's booth. The upcoming Gundam-Seed game was somehow interesting, but pretty much meh. The Evil-Dead: Regeneration, Zatch-Bell and Inuyasha games were more interesting. All PS/2-games. The robotech Beta-fighter/mecha look ugly and stupid up close.

Prime is MUCH too cool to be a Ford. Real people( ranchers, contractors-- professionals that actually use the trucks for the designed use) that buy full sized trucks don't buy them to be "cool" . They buy them because they're functional. Hence Superduty and F350.

I beg to differ on this one and I too, will have to use DYRL? as a referrence. Look back to the MAX 'n MILIA showdown scene in the skies above the alien city ruins. You might recall that when they were battling, MAX was constantly switching from Fighter to Battroid modes and was doing all sorts of maneuvers to attack and avoid volleys of RPGs/Missiles (specially the ones fired from the shoulders of MILIA's Q-Rau Armor!). MAX might be better "robot" pilot, but I don't think that makes him any less than HIKARU when batlling in Fighter mode. hehehe I dunno, man. From DYRL, seems like Max only made kills when he's in Battroid-mode, while Hikaru made kills in all modes (fighter/battroid/gerwalk). Hikaru also destroyed a Zentran-warship with his 1S, while Max just chased Milia into a Meltran-ship in his 1S.

Kamjin was talking about Hikaru. Milia mistook him meaning Max. Also, if you have DYRL, try to count how many enemies Max and Hikaru each took down in the first battle. Just for fun.

hmm. let's see. on my A-list finished-series that ain't licensed, yet: Air-TV School Rumble Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~ On currently-running shows, only Ichigo 100% TV and UG Ultimate Girl are still holding up my interest. Bummer that it's kinda tough to find Akane Maniax nowadays without ordering the R2.

I got Wheeljack alternator today!!! pics: Spotted and bought today at the nearest walmart here for $20. comments: Very much like the Grimlock-Alt (silver mustang) stories here, it was quite a bitch to transform properly. Took me at least 30-45 minutes to figure out how to transform the topside. Be careful when you get it.

I checked at the two Best-Buy's today, but they don't have Zim. BB only have Harvey Birdman dvd.

Awww, C'MON!!! You're really pushing it with this one. Why are you trying to compare the 1/65 M7 toys to the newer and more intricate 1/48 Yammies? Why not actually compare the M7-toys to the older 1/55 VF-1 series from the same maker Bandai? and fwiw, the 1/65 are actually worse and quite complex than the 1/55 VF-1 in transformation for kids. Here's an anecdote. I bought my nephews the Bandai VF-1 and the VF-17. They transform the VF-1 easily without looking at the instructions, while they had a difficult time figuring out the VF-17 transformation while looking at the instructions. And the VF-17 was easier to transform than the VF-19.

Some people like it, most hate it. The more people hate Macross 7, the more vehemently the fans will defend it. Put yourself in the place of those who like it and ask yourself if you wouldn't do the same. Imagine someone saying Macross in general was crap and Gundam was way better. I bet I can guess your reaction...and mine. here's a better question: Is G Gundam better than Macross 7? a better question is ... is Pokemon better than Macross 7?

kinda weird pairings, but hey. I only got alts and they're not complete, tho. Only bought Shockwave, Streak, Smokescreen, Swindle, Sideswipe, and Hound. I passed on Meister, Grimlock and Windcharger. My favorite is Shockwave (shockblast). He's got smart heel-support, looks rad in car-mode, has black-wheels, he's got his distinctive arm-blaster, and he's dark-purple! He is the coolest and most bad-ass and he's a friggin' decepticon. THE decepticon.! The color-coordination just friggin' rulz! As close to the original as one can get. Heck! I like him better now than in his original gun-form that I used to own back in the day. He's much better than Meister, imho. The pearl-white color of Meister was a little off-putting for me. I still can't accept Jazz being an RX8. He's always gonna be a porche to me. With stripes. My second favorite is Swindle. Again, the color-coordination just plain r0x. With his purple-shaded eyes and the grill, he looks kewl. Next will be SilverStreak. I like his colors better than Smokescreen. Red and Silver. Badass. Hound is ok, but his face looks ugly. Smokescreen's too much riced-out with those decals, but he's ok. Sideswipe is my least favorite that I own and I keep him in car-mode. He looks better as a car. Windcharger's my least favorite of all. He just looks weak and stuff. BattleRavage is kewl if you keep him in cat-mode like one of the pics in the TF-thread, but he looks ridiculous as a regular bot. Tracks oughta be ok. If I can find him again. I would've like Grimlock. He looks kewl as a silver Stang. But... Me Grimlock me Dinobot! Me Grimlock King! Really. Unlike Shockblast and quite like Meister, it's tough to accept Grimlock as a car instead of Dinobot for me. It's just wrong. Oh, well. That's my opinion.
