Hikaru-1S, of course. Always. Really cannot have a "naked" Hikaru-1S. It'll be quite very wrong. The Roy-1S can do without the Strike-FPs, tho it does look better with 'em on. The 1A and the 1J really should not be paired with Strike-FPs, but if that floats your boat...

most of us here prolly already have the Minmay-collection was http://www.hlj.com/product/CMS65081 while some have this ( http://www.hlj.com/product/CMS65236 ) both have been long oop, however. this one ( http://www.hlj.com/product/CMS65031 ) is still available, tho it only has one Minmay DYRL-version figure.

As I'd posted earlier, the only thing I don't like with the Stampede was it's surprising lack of non-battery mode. Really don't know why Hasbro decided to gimped it that way since the Vulcan it is supposed to be supplanting has a non-battery mode. The Vulcan for me just have that immediate cool/fun-factor, whether tripod-mounted or sling-mounted. It just have a quirky presence. I reckon the jamming-issues people get with it just adds a more weird realistic charm to it.
-
It's also a damn heavy gun, so I'm not sure how much shipping will cost or any possible shipping-damage can be avoided. I'm not really that aware of any "specific method" or instruction-procedure with the vulcan. Maybe they'd added in some new instructional stuff to alleviate a bunch of early user-induced feed-errors that most likely will produce a jam. I reckon it'll be easy to figure out how to un-jam coz the vulcan itself is pretty simple. The only thing I can possibly suggest to you is to prolly disregard the ammo-box coz it was really quite obtrusive and adds alot of unnecessary reload-time if you have multiple belts, as it can only fit the default 1-belt.
-
I haven't had any jamming-issues or breakage with my old vulcan. I bought it when it first came out and it's still being used extensively by my nephews to this day. However, my 5yo nephew was not successful when he tried to use a different type of dart with the mag-belt, i.e. seemed like glow-darts just don't quite fire-out of the vulcan or even from the belt itself. fwiw, I bought it locally from wally's. i'm not so sure about the quality/reliability if you buy it online from amazon or hasbro-direct. it'll be quite a pita if you get a broken one via online.
-
pretty much. at least for the kids. get them in the yard or go to a park for it. along with the dogs, if you have 'em. the vulcan is still freakin' nice even just on display. 14yo and older, i rather suggest to go for the more-expensive airsoft route or, well, paintball route.

I gifted my youngest nephews with the Recon cs-6, the Longstrike, and the Stampede ecs last x'mas. They already had my old Vulcan-25 from a few years ago. The Recon was nice. I like the Longstrike better, but I wished it came with a bipod like the older Longshot. We just used the Stampede's bipod for it. The Stampede has nice extras and stuff, but quite a letdown coz there's no manual-mode at all. Prepare to stock up on six-D batts to use it.

might as well use the Grimlock apron and tie with it and take pix!

well, heads up, guys. Just got back from the local wally's and the deluxe-TF pricing (ROTF, WFC/Generations) are back up at $11.88 again over there. There were one of each of these: Megs, Dirge, and Soundwave, while bunches of Skullgrin and Thunderwing are shelfwarming with the usual ROTF-crap. The local Target has Cliffy (wfc) for $9.99 and Skullgrin still shelfwarming at $9.04 alongside ROTF-crap at $9. I also have not seen any of the RTS line at the local Target since getting Jazz a few weeks ago. fwiw, i just saw a new walgreens down here, but am too tired to visit to check on inventory and pricing there. maybe tomorrow.
-
got lucky at wally's today with these guys... Cliffy's not even showing up on their inventory, yet, but the sales-clerk just double-swiped Soundwave for it.
-
I really liked playing the demo when it first came out. I'm still just waiting for a disc-version since I just don't like downloading the full-version. I just don't like downloading any non-free full-version games at all.

I'm gonna try to find Tracks tonite since I'm hitting Wally's for the A-Team BD/DVD combo (if it exists there). I might just buy another Jazz if I find him again tonite. edit: well, that Wally's indeed did a huge restock tonite and the TF-aisle was since overflowing. overflowing with crap rotf-shelfwarmers, that is. all the pegs have are Ravage, Skids, Sideswipe, Arcee, Hailstorm... WTF!!!????!!!! what a *@#$()%*# wasted trip. even the A-Team bd/dvd combo didn't exist, so i had to settle with the bd-only version. dammit!

/me double-facepalm you guys oughta buy a pair of these: http://www.amazon.com/AudioQuest-K2-terminated-speaker-cable/dp/B000J36XR2/ and these, too: http://www.amazon.com/Denon-AKDL1-Dedicated-Link-Cable/dp/B000I1X6PM/

welp! finally visited the local Target today and they got some interesting stuff there like: SkullGrin (a non-blue recolor of Darkmount) and Mindset (a blue-repaint of Hailstorm). They got the usual rotf shelfwarmers clogging the pegs, but they also have... Special Ops Jazz ($9) and Dirge ($9.04)!!! Bought them two right away. They also got those little ones (legends?-class) like Tracker Hound and Duststorm which is a mocha-repaint of Beachcomber. Maybe the other Target have Blurr and the others. Wally's didn't have jack other than the usual rotf crap. edit: Jazz is so frickin' kewl!!!
-
was at wally's last nite and their TF-aisle is now stacked full again. ...with a bunch of those ROTF shelfwarmers yet again. Augh! well, I reckon it's not quite as bad since a couple of WFC-Megs finally appeared there and there were a couple more Darkmounts. WFC-Prime was there, too, so I finally snagged him. He's not a $13-kewl figure, but he's $9-kewl.
-
Well, I saw and bought Megs (wfc) at Wally's today. $9! That Wally's also (surprisingly) got a couple of Darkmounts and both Terradive and Tomahawk. All of which I passed on. As such, Blurr, Megs(wfc), Dirge, Soundwave(wfc), and Red Alert are all available in Fry's retail for $12.99 each. I'm gun-shy with the pricing, so I'm gonna check the other Wally's here for them instead.
-
fyi, guys. The local wally's here price-dropped the deluxe-class TFs to $9. I just went to their online-site and it's also $9 there. dunno if it's gonna permanent, tho.

meh. they're not gonna ever top the awesome remake and the even more awesome sequel to the awesome remake... -
fwiw, I saw both Darkmount and Hailstorm at the local Wally's here. I couldn't pull the purchasing-trigger on either. Darkmount's just too small. I prolly would've gotten him if he was in Voyager-class. Hailstorm's just way too meh. that said, I must await Classics Grapple.

nice. tho gotta wonder why they changed his Flaming Chicken into something else...

The Amazing Spider-Man, on Blu-Ray/DVD Nov. 9, 2012

One can only hope that they indeed do that. It would be such a surreal Peter Parker story dilemma that he really wanted a redheaded Gwen all this time... never gonna happen, tho. -
spotted a lone Red Alert today at wally's and here he is alongside his buddies:.

Official Bandai DX Chogokin VB-6 König Monster Thread
treatment replied to Funkenstein's topic in Toys
whoa! from the pics, the old Yammie's bigger than the DX. shuttle-mode: tie. gerwalk-mode: i give the edge to the old Yammie, as it looks more menacingly Monster than the DX. destroid-mode: DX definitely looks prettier with the stickers, but the DX cannons look weak by proportions. what is the scale of the DX again?
