White Blast-Off is quite boring. At least, to me. Haven't seen any of the Fruticus variants, but I thought purple Blast-Off was quite nicer from the pics. Anyhooo, another Dudicus pic...- 17824 replies

Welp! Too broke to get any of the TRU-MPs, but I did get Dudicus from amzn in the mail today, and he is just damn kewl! Wish I can find the retail versions since BlastOff is way better with purple than the white-camo. Anyhoo..- 17824 replies

got some surprising raptor drama at the mini mall earlier today. Yeah. The red-tailed hawk stole that white-tailed kite's mouse-lunch. Check out the rest of the pics in the album-link.

sucks that I didn't find out about the sensor-dirt on my D7K until after I'd finished importing the pics from the sd-card. anyway, the Blue Angels tripping the car alarms in my area in the late afternoon earlier during the MCAS AirShow 2012:

just waking up and setting up on the patio to catch some of the miramar airshow stuff when this guy shows up in my viewfinder all of a sudden: I was surprised and was just in damn awe that I quick triggered before I could have a better zoom at it.

Well, fwiw, my DYRL v2's (roy/hikky/max/kaki) all have their SPs. i just want the upcoming VE-1 re-issue from the link. I do wish Yamato-Toys will reissue the DYRL-CF to include the FAST-packs, tho. I passed on the CF when it was offered since I didn't much care about the option-parts for it and the FAST-packs were long out of stock as well to have it in proper DYRL-mode. As for the TV-FPs, I dunno. I think the only the TV-valks that need FPs (Hikky-1S/Max-1J/Milia-1J) should already come with it. Which means I hope Yamato-Toys reissue them as complete package.

snapping at a scented candle thingy using the old AI-s 55mm:

scored me another freebie old lens today from work. an AI-s: It was kinda sucky to play around with earlier since the D90 at work can only use it in manual-mode and the D90 doesn't have the non-cpu data stuff to help out. Brought it home and paired it up with my D7K as a new non-cpu entry and here are some quickies from the pair: for scale... This lens is just really damn fabulous and I so luv it! Yeah, so it's manual-focus and stuff, but it's really all good for macro and fast-normal usage. Not really recommended for D90 and lower models, tho. I'm really quite surprised it's still in excellent condition since people at work told me they bought it back in the late 90's and retired it in the closet about five years or so ago when they bought their current 105mm/VR to replace it. It's been in that closet until it got rescued today. For me. w00t!
