  1. MarkH retro-reviews his kinda-mostly-intact VF-171 cannon-fodder with comparo to the recent VF-171EX Revival:
  2. moderoid vs hm-r: https://twitter.com/simsim5479/status/1753675930206343646 web-transtaled:
  3. Maybe Bandai thinks they're making Gundam stuff instead of Macross...
  4. here's the part-2:
  5. Yeah. There is nothing in the promo pics to indicate any peg nor usage from the FAST Pack for that notch:
  6. You can try the regular Tamiya Extra-Thin Cement (green-cap): https://www.tamiyausa.com/shop/finishing/extra-thin-cement-2/ I don't have any experience with the Quick-Setting version, tho.
  7. Moar Heppoko... https://twitter.com/simsim5479/status/1750494497065377915 web-translated: Interesting, but I just hope this Revival's body does not yellow quickly like his original seems to have been...

  9. Another assembly/review of the HG YF-21, but a bit rather better detailed. Enable auto-translate CC on your yt:
  10. The cockpit/fuselage of the DX seems to protrude a bit much in Battroid-mode that it looks floaty. Like some kind of a bizarro crotch-thrust..
  11. I don't have FB, is he the same person as Heppoko? https://twitter.com/simsim5479/status/1749402516654330180
  12. No yt-reviews found, yet, and not sure if Hacchaka will bother, but here's Valkyrie-Hangar blog with his pictorial-review: https://valkyrie-hanger.sakura.ne.jp/blog/detail/252 web-translated snapshot sample:
  13. heppoko just tweeted lots pics from his page. Sample: https://twitter.com/simsim5479/status/1748939091679551758 web-translated snap:
  14. Bandai really luvs bendy soft antenna again? https://twitter.com/febrral/status/1748695800350437669 web-translated snap:
  15. Heppoko has a posted a bunch of pics on his tweeter-page. sample: https://twitter.com/simsim5479/status/1748751318934855771 web-translated:
  16. At this point, I just hope my Alto-Revival does not yellow on its own while boxed and stored up in my attic. At least, just to avoid being added/contributed into the You're Yellow! thread...
  17. Usual scalper bots most likely hoovered up initial allocations. At US340 + taxes, just hope scalpers get permanently stuck with unsold inventory of it. As such, just wait a bit. It'll most likely come up avaiable again. Just don't buy 'em from scalpers and/or scalper-shops...
  18. Nothing to do with any of that nor with Arcadia itself. It's all just about Bandai. They've been employing strict artificial scarcity on their toy lines since at least the DX VF-25 Renewal era. This tactic sustains the current ludicrous preordering shenanigans for their toys, especially on their various Chogokins (DX, SOC, etc) and their MetalBuild (Gundam or otherwise) lines.
  19. We'll most likely have to wait for Jenius' review to watch a 1-1 comparo between the original 2014 and this reissue. If he still has 2014 version, that is. I think neither Wotafa nor MarkH has the 2014 version, either, as their own archived reviews were the original Yammie.
  20. Heppoko already built his in Battroid-mode: https://twitter.com/simsim5479/status/1747988141557060009 Not sure if it's just the shot-angle, but Bandai and their huge feet fetish...
  21. Has these VF-25 Revivals been quite a dud to you guys? I've recently reopened my VF-25 Alto Revival for a simple scale picture a couple of weeks ago. Prior to that, it's been boxed after taking some pictures during delivery to me. It's not quite playable nor satisfying to me. The issue I've experienced with it is... Extreme joints looseness. Very annoyingly so, as I've only really actually handled this item maybe twice or so after delivery for picture taking. It's practically unused! This looseness should not happen at all! At least, not after just two minor handlings. Specifically, hips and shoulder joints looseness. It keeps doing splits easily when in Battroid mode. I have to really do some effort on positioning to keep it just standing steady. The arms just flail easily, too. No more friction at all, unlike the first time out of the box. I've tightened up the screws, but doesn't seem to help at all. It's been quite disappointing, to say the least. Complete contrast to my YF-29 Max, which is still quite satisfyingly tight everywhere and very enjoyable to handle. As such, I've seen/read some even more awful VF-25 Michael looseness and stuff. Good thing I didn't bother to get that variant.
  22. Bummer. Like amzn-jp, I don't think Ami does Return-for-Replacements anymore due to the expensive shipping-fees nowadays. Just Return-for-Refund, iirc. As such... If you're as unsatisifed as me, then I can suggest to ask them for you to just return it for a full refund since the item is not acceptable to you. You can then return the item via the cheapest USPS with tracking and return-receipt (Priority International, i think). Should be around $50 or so. If you're in the US, that is. Prolly way more expensive if you're in CA, Europe or Asia. Then afterwards, try to get it again from HLJ this time since it's still available there for 34800jpy. They're gonna be a bit cheaper than Ami since they dont add the tokyo-tax, and you don't have to ship it right away. More shipping and return options, too. Good luck!
