  1. lol! Yeah. Unfortunately, the belly-sticker might be a bit of a challenge...
  2. Thanks, man! :sigh: event-exclusive...
  3. HOLY...!!! Just saw this over at Toysdaily: http://toysdaily.com/discuz/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=237800&extra=page%3D1&page=1 upcoming SRC Great Mazinger- Jumbo Machinder color variant. Can somebody translate fully?
  4. Maybe just me, but using a marker or whatever on a ~$200 toy to make a fake grey-goggle is, well, just simply cringe-inducing. It's your money, tho...
  5. Mr.K's just trolling.
  6. I don't think HG challenged it at all. I think it turns out they can't challenge it so they whined back to Tatsunoko about it. The lawsuit between BW and Tatsunoko clarified that HG only has a sublicense...
  7. another Celia in armor... http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-011385 1/7. Armor and skirt removable...
  8. 1/6 Muramasa Race Queen (blue) pre-o is up: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-011367 The white-version looks better, but not sur if it's a web-exclusive. Ami doesn't have the white-version, yet.
  9. Weird that MWF does not have any thing archived about Sunwards. Maybe Graham still has some promo materials of it stashed somewhere. Also, I seem to recall it was 1/60v1 Roy rather than 1/72. I don't seem to recall Sunwards ever promo-ing the 1/72 Plus valks.
  10. Do it. You'll find out that it was actually "white" only for a couple of frames. It was grey-goggles most of the time in the episode. It became white when Hikaru finally shed off the armor, but then Grey again when he entered the Zentraedi scout ship.

    Hi-Metal R

Wonder if Bandai will offer the Tomahawk and Defender destroids for this line...
  13. re: grey-goggles version Ya know? Not sure if anybody has theorized it, yet, but seeing the Hi-Metal version has grey-goggles, could it be that Arcadia can't do grey-goggles coz Bandai has a weird licensing-exclusivity to it from BW that either one can't talk about openly?

  15. No SAP, No Buy! Coz even colored/photochopped, it still looks utterly derpy without the SAP... Also, ET should've done the Metal Siren first. That way, they can make the Metal Siren as ugly as sin (even more than it already is) and then learn stuff properly before doing the VF2SS...
  16. dammit, ami! http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-011292
  17. lol! Slightly widening the hips and thighs like that does make it look more proportioned than the grey prototype. That gun is still too small. Need the heavy railgun. Of course, the heavy railgun is part of the SAP...
  18. I limit myself to Chachi and Charles wrt video reviews. Mainly coz I like their no-nonsense raw presentation, especially when pointing out how stupid/wtf/frustrating/fragile/flawed some of the stuff can be. Also, we have similar tastes in toys so it's easy for me to get what they're saying about toys that I may or may not have. I don't quite like those overproduced and fanboy-ish reviews.
  19. OptimusPrimeSG's MP-23 review is now up: https://youtu.be/nIh5rARoNS45rARoNS4
  20. Ok. For those interested, ami's got the pre-o up: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=TOY-SCL2-46321 3650y (excluding shipping)
  21. Looking more at the prototype pics, they forgot legwork as the legs are just far too thin to be misproportioned...
