Yeah. HLJ's was over and closed way too quickly. 15mins tops? With a limit-1, too. 6120y or somewhere around that. I think they were just trolling, or only had less than 10 individual Regults to offer.
-
Just hope Bandai doesn't pull their douchebag-move and make the Regult options-pack a TWS-exclusive at 5000y with fixed US$20 shipping-fees...
-
I expect BandaiVisual will not be generous to provide eng-subs if BW doesn't pay additionally for it. Besides, I rather have no eng-subs than the bizarro engrish-subs BandaiVisual put in Macross Plus BD...

Scalpers still vastly outnumber MWF members buying multiples...

Just tried browsing to HKC, but got redirected to his non-current blogger-page instead. Bummer.

Well, the SRCs are also all over the place wrt scaling. Nevertheless, I've attached the sizing/scaling-comparo from the hacchaka-blog review that was posted here before: http://blog.livedoor.jp/hacchaka/archives/51960242.html Height-wise, the RX-0 is 140mm while the VF-25 is about 125mm. The HM-R in GBP-mode is a bit taller at prolly around 150mm/160mm, but I think the naked 1J would be around 140mm like the RX-0. I'll post some scale-pics when I get mine with my various toys like SRCs, RDs, and RGs.

Finally found a QC error feature on my Screamer today. Somehow, the tiny wing lights dots are both green. Found it actually when I was replacing Screamer back next to my old Walwarp, which had the correct G/R wing lights dots. The funny thing is that my TRU-TC do not even have wing lights at all. Quite a minor QC errorfeature from the factory and easily goes unnoticed. Either they ran out of red paint, or just some factory-supervisors or training-manual prolly just forgot to mention to the workers that the wing lights are supposed to be different colored dots. Easily fixable by a sharpee or something if you're really bothered by it, tho. I'm not bothered by it. Just surprised me a bit. That said, I really want another one so I can display Screamer in both modes. edit: Apparently, the dual green winglights is a deliberate feature on this Screamer. Geezus, Hasbro...- 16946 replies

Happy to report that there were NO QC ISSUES FOUND! Even the usually jumpy tailfins stays flipped in place all the time and the tiny backwing-tabs actually stay tabbed-in properly now! These tiny backwing-tabs don't ever stay tabbed-in with my TC and my WalWarp. Important note: Everything is pretty tight. Especially the Legs. So, try not to get scared or discouraged, but do try to be a bit mindful of the tightness when extending during transformations. The QC on this Screamer is surprisingly pretty good! It is not perfect, tho. Yes. There are some flashes and stuff on the red plastic of the chest-area. You can see it on my pics. However, it's quite minor and irrelevant to me since I'm used to it even from SOCs and stuff. Other than that, great job, Hasbro! At any rate... :hail:- 16946 replies

I don't get what you're saying. Jenius explained that since the Frontier valks are pretty much from the same chassis, it should all be the same height in battroid-mode, whether in specs or eye-level toys. Therefore, Bandai's using the chassis for their toys. Nobody seems to know the specs for the VF-19Advanced. The Yamato valks are expected to have differences in height since they all don't share the same chassis, with the exception of the YF-21 and VF-22. Ergo, Yamato cannot use the same chassis for their toys unless they're from the same variant. Like Jenius said, it might be just the ankles or something.

I don't have any DX Chogokins, but are you saying the VF-171, VF-25/27, YF-29/30, VF-19Advanced all have of the same height specs in battroid mode?

Thanks, man. I won't have my HM-R until maybe next week to do it myself, but these should at least give us some ideas about it.
-
It is a known standard practice of Bandai. Plenty of us have been complaining about it since they seem to do it regularly on all their lines (SRC, Damashii, Soul of Chogokins, Figuarts, MonsterArtsetc, etc). It's frustrating as heck. Well, some buyers just buy it at such prices to scalp re-sell it later at a much higher pricing. The secondary market for Macross stuff seems to be very very lucractive...
-
I reckon you'll just have to check the actual official specs (sizes and all) for these respective valks. Then you can prolly correlate why a YF-19 or YF-21/VF-22 is bigger or smaller than a VF-1 or VF-17.

Oh, geezus. You're barking at the wrong tree here. The HeavyArms and Sandrock options are simply _OPTIONS_ to make them season-1. They were also like around 1500y. You _don't_ have to buy it. They are totally _un-needed_ and _un-necessary_, like every RD-options. That's why it particularly shelfwarmed and still shelfwarming. Somebody else is scalping it, but you would do well NOT to get it at all.
-
btw, does anyone else here have the old Revoltech Regults and can take some pics to show how it scales with the HM-R VF-1J (or any of the old HMs)? thanks.

The Regult does not transform, either...
