    I tell you what. The battroid-mode adaptor totally sucks with the SAs. Actually, let me rephrase that. The battroid-mode adaptor just plain sucks. It doesn't really secure itself. I think you can only do one particular battroid pose successfully, and that is neutral pose. However, the fighter-mode adaptor is good. Never tried the gerwalk-adaptor, tho.

    MM is kinda disappointing. Quite significantly less metal/diecast content and no leg articulation compared to HK. Still kewt, tho...

    ET's usual quality, I reckon. Gotta watch out for floppiness and stuff, too. At any rate, I think I'm totally in for the Nexx version that includes the SAP. Skipping this Sylvie and the Faerie version, unless it goes bargain-bin. When's the preorder for Nexx gonna be up?

    I will say this. This ET VF2SS' battroid-mode is much more pleasing to look at than Yamarcadia's VF-4G's battroid-mode. Heck! It looks much better than any of the Frontier valks in battroid-mode! And it does not even have the SAP to wear and accentuate as of yet.

    Thanks for the review, jvmacross! I'm pretty sure the MWF will post/feature it up on the front and FB-page when they wake up. I think the discoloration issue is pretty minor. The "joons" plastic-quality is prolly livable. However, it is quite unfortunate about the tabs not locking properly in place. "Swooshability" is pretty important to some, if not most, of us. We can only hope that ET will get wind of your review and apply the necessary improvements for the Nexx version. Can't have their Nexx's SAP flopping all over like the old Bandai kit. Should we give them a B or a C for effort? If this was a $100-$120 valk, prolly at least a solid B+...

    Think I'll get this MH version when it goes up for preorder. Coz it's quite a large non-scale figure and has a slightly better face-sculpt than the BQ version. Wish it'll be in her red bikini like the BQ, tho.

    Sorry, Dave. Nice pics, but ET's VF-2SS is not part of their Dynamite Action line. Could be a blessing or a curse. Some magnets and stuff would prolly have been nice on their VF-2SS.

    Nice pics, but I reckon they're more marketing-pics than review pics. All the shots and choice of angles show only the nice sides. Some of the unavoidable questionable ones are ingeniously shadowed ( http://stat.ameba.jp/user_images/20160219/23/digitamin/e5/43/j/o0700052513571739325.jpg ) As such, I think we can all agree that this ET is a big improvement compared to the old Bandai 1/100 kit. Unfortunately, just about anything is an improvement on that old Bandai kit since it's a very crappy kit.. I agree with Yeti that the major downfall on this ET version is really the high-end pricing they did just to level with Bandai and Arcadia pricing. However the engineering and materials are already suspect on this ET.

    That would be nicer. As such, do you guys think they should've left them swingbars painted like in the old promo-shot instead of unpainted (or is it actually painted gunmetal black?) like that?

    I, uhh, I dunno. Maybe it's just the way the dude is posing it, but that thing just seems to be not quite flattering to the old lineart... http://www.macross2.net/m3/macross2/vf-2ss.htm in almost all modes, too. Looks quite loose in that rear-view fighter-mode shot, too. Maybe some of you here can tab it together better (if it even offers tabbing) when you finally receive your copy.
