Looks pretty boss than the Sylvie and the Faerie. Hope it really holds together better this time without requiring super-glue or future/pledge, and that ET has read and implemented the necessary improvements on it.

Not sure if he's a member here. He's usually my goto-reviewer for Soul of Chogokins and TFs. He prolly lurks here sometimes since he says he's a macross-fan, too.

Yeah. I'll definitely wait for improvement reports before placing an order on the NEXX+SAP. Just way too Arcadia-like expensive even at preorder/current-pricing and requires too much effort to expend to justify the import cost for me. ET should get smart and implement the improvements asap to get significant number of paying macrossfans to switch to buy their stuff more than from Arcadia and Bandai.

Welp! Succuboobie Shamsiel is being re-released... 1/6 185mm castoff-enabled http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?scode=FIGURE-015127-S001

I'm trying to limit it to just the official products. For better or worse, I'm not even sure some here remember (or want to remember) the Joons...

Ya know, guys? Some of us don't buy nor care about 3P stuff, so we don't have any idea what the fugazi you're talking about when you mention comparisons to 3P stuff. However, most of us have Macross products from most, if not all, the players. So for better comparisons, can you guys at least answer the following regarding ET's plastic quality of the 1/60 Sylvie: -- How eactly is the plastic quality (esp. sturdiness)? Is it the same or comparable or not to the soft 1/100 Bandai kit quality? Is it the same or comparable or not to the 1/100 Bandai HM and/or HM-R? is it the same or comparable or not to the rather brittle Yamato 1/60 SV-51 (Ivanoff/Nora) or VF-0A or VF-11b? is it the same or comparable or not to the infamous Yamato 1/72 VF-11b? Don't have to compare against the Yamato VF-1 (v1 and v2), but do so if you want to further elaborate.

Very nice! Really goes well with Skull Leader. That Alto-v1 really is quite an eyesore, tho. Can it hold more dynamic Obari-like poses if you use a stand like SA's or Yeti's? Or does gravity wins again on it?

fyi. Ami's got some Regult up right now as of this posting: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-014125

That looks badass! ET's Premium Finish VARIANT! I reckon a V2 with the necessary improvements and stuff will be really good. Provided ET cares enough to do a V2. Among the current 1/60 and DX battroid valks right now, the VF-2SS battroid is really the prettiest.

Somebody chop the ET Sylvie onto that image STAT!
-
Oh so that's how it went down. Yamato must've really struck gold and made lots of moneys selling all those M0 and M7 valks instead...
-
Ya know? Maybe ET should've prolly done the Metal Siren first instead of the VF-2SS. Prolly get less groans with it...
-
Maybe you're just not reading the forum as much to be missing the even-more-critical-and-more-devastating stuff being hurled at both Bandai and Arcadia/Yamato for their products. It's nice that ET coughed up the big moneys to pay for the license to produce MII 1/60 toys from BigWest, but I'm a bit indifferent about it since I believe Yamato-Toys was just cockblocked by Bandai from getting the MII toy-license from BigWest back during Yamato-Toys' heyday.

Yeah, thanks. Almost all of us know by now that "lower pricing" almost always means "jacked up shipping-fees" from NY. At least, AE sometimes do have lower pricing and lower shipping-fees vs hlj. Just sometimes, tho. I think...
-
Them paneling are VERY NICE indeed! ET should've really gone above and beyond and panel-lined their Sylvie. People might be a bit more tolerant of the other faults and damn more excited if their VF-2SS is paneled as pretty as that. As such, for all the faults so far (including the one busted hinge), at least we haven't gotten a sporadic $300 self-destructing bum hip/leg issue report, as of yet...
-
Does NY have a better shipping-fees than hlj or ami on the 4G? How much are you losing if you order from hlj now?
-
I was just gonna ask the consequence of cutting them tabs.
-
Wait, what? Super glue?
