  1. They totally could. But this is Bandai. They don't even include a spare head-laser with this DX, per Graham's report. Not sure if it even has a spare lock-pin...
  2. I see. fwiw, I was a bit surprised that DHL was a quite cheaper than either FedEx options at hlj earlier. Usually it's the other way around. Not sure if the pricing scales up respectively as well when shipping lotsa stuff like you seem to be contemplating right now.
  3. Assuming you're using credit-card instead of paypal, do you not use Yen instead for your payment-currency at hlj? Should have better rate if you use Yen as your payment-currency.
  4. The YF-21 DX box seems to appear almost half as big as Nao... https://x.com/macrossD/status/1806339681728225356
  5. The DiscoTek set? Yeah. It is specifically Region-A only, per their sleeve/covers: However and iirc, the PS4 console itself should be region-free and should be able to play it. Only your PS-account is region-locked. So, can you make another account on your console and have that account set to US instead?
  6. Bandai's fold-booster from their YF-19 DX full-set does not light up like Yamato's.
  7. Check your hlj-account. Mine got charged/pw-ed about 5pm JST: 6550y for DHL to US is relatively steep since no HLJ shipping-discounts this time. Expecting delivery early next week (Monday/Tuesday). Hopefully this Saturday the soonest... edit/update: SHIPPED!
  8. It's only ithe Movie version that has that scene. The OVA does not have it. Here's the BD snapshot of the same scene as your tv-shot, The nice heat-haze effect they reproduced makes the video quality a bit soft, tho.
  9. Seems Bandai had made their YF-21 DX to be "Macross Plus...Parts" toy... Better not lose that lock pin and stuff...
  10. moar detail pics at TD-forum. https://bbs.toysdaily.com/forum.php?mod=redirect&goto=findpost&ptid=471761&pid=8217817 sample:
  11. some TD-forum user posted stuff, finally. will need some (web)translating... https://bbs.toysdaily.com/forum.php?mod=redirect&goto=findpost&ptid=471761&pid=8217577
  12. Yeah, but still seems to look mistransformed, tho. Head-gap and all that...
  13. Also, not sure if the flip-out gear lights from the DX and Yamarcadia exists on this Veritech, or if both reviewers simply forgot about that gimmick: Veritech Robo-Dou: flip-out gear lights gimmick on both the Bandai DX and Yamarcadia 1/60v2 (pic courtesy of @jenius anymoon) :
  14. Yeah. Is it an actual feature, or a mistranformation bug? fwiw, this is how the arms placement looked like in the other video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joyjynncW80
  15. This could be the very same guy that posted with the backwards missiles on some earlier pics from Baidu or something. As for the Veritech, there were some nice innovations on it. Particularly their innovation on the T-Bar rotating gimmick from Bandai's DX-VF1 line. So far on first-viewing... The chest-transtormation is a bit intriguing, Rick Hunter pilot strangely has both of the arms splayed out for whatever reason. The head seems still too big and ball-y. The popeye arms are stil popeye-y. Not sure if there are no pt hands and one has to really install them after. The chest-side gap is quite weird. Maybe mistransformed like the backwards missiles: Wish he has the Bandai DX and the Yamarcadia 1/60v2 to compare with. As usual, gonna wait for @jenius for a more detailed and non-rushed review. Especially comparos with other existing VF-1 toys. Maybe wotafa will review it as well...
  16. err, they seemed to have propped-up/braced-up[ the new pr pic to make it look not sagging anymore like the original:
  17. Ox seems to luv all of Isamu's -19's as much as his gundams... https://x.com/XXXG00YSW/status/1800974021426807144 top-right pic down-scaled: Click on his tweet-link for the full-size...
  18. @jenius hasn't been advertising it, but he's got some recently released retro-reviews of the Takara 1/24 Dual Model *Dogs...
