    I did these painted stands after I got tired of the SMS being in orange. These were posted on my instagram and tumblr a few days ago. I only just remembered to post them here.

    I'm in that camp. All of my Messiahs have been transformed, Mostly my V1 25G, But I dare not transform my YF-29s out of fear of messing up their shoulders. And my 171....well after both shoulders disingergrated after my first attempt, I just relegated that one to fighter forever.

    Do you guys think theres a possibility that the new series will be an expansion on the events of Macross 30? or possibly expand on that universe? I would imagine it would be a gigantic clusterfrakk, if they had all the generations come back, but perhaps they can expand the story on the main characters introduced in the game?

    Yeah. I was running through the shipping charges in my head. I've recieved bigger boxes than Chogkins from AmiAmi and EMS was no more than $40, so theyre definitely pulling some strings there. But you gotta make money somehow....

    Argh. what a day to be low on reserves. Thats not a bad price for a predorder, but factoring shipping it'll bring the total charge up to 220 on CDJapan. I'm hoping those units hold out at least until I get paid next week.

    Hey guys. I recently got back into building custom models with gundams, and have decided to make one of my next projects a bit more Ambitious. What I plan to do is get another CF VF-25 and repaint them into Cipher and Solo Wing Pixy schemes from Ace Combat Zero. I know The cheaper route would be to just get the Bandai Model kits instead,and i'll probably fall back to that plan if things dont work out, but to be honest I wouldn't mind having something that lasts. So to the root of my question, Does anyone on the boards have experience Dismantling a VF-25? V1 or Renewal?

    certainly better than the yamato ver. Currently in the process of dismantling mine to stiffen it.

    A little, yeah. But to be honest I dont really mind it all that much. Gives me a chance to just not have to think of anything on a weekend and just spend the day dusting figures. I actually bought a makeup brush kit just for this purpose. I've been thinking of putting a piece of hinged plexiglass over the openings though.

    Thats exactly what my family members said when mine came in and I put her on the shelf. "Why are her boobs so huge?" I just said nothing. I didnt want to tell that that was the only way the breastplate armor would stay on.

    I just wanted to share my current layout before the overhaul. The shelf where I display my DX chogokins was actually and addition I installed myself. The shelving on either side was an earlier addition that couldnt be moved. I apologize for the bad lighting. My room is only lit up by one central bulb. I plan on getting some display lighting for the overhaul.

    At 90 some dollars on the HLJ sale, I couldnt resist pulling trigger. I'm well aware of it's problems, but I figure im probably going to transform it once in awhile. The majority of the time, its going to be in carrier mode along side my Messiahs, probably stick the Ranka and Sheryl Nendoroids on the flight deck, so as a display piece its a nice touch.

    Having a V1 VF-25G, I can report that the surface detail on the V1s are very rudimentary compared to its revival cousins. Whereas the renewals have the surface detail akin to the Plamo, the V1s have surface detail akin to a toy.

    There are lots, But the ones I particularly like are the ones from Megahouse and Goodsmile Company/Max Factory The MegaHouse Klan figure Is an awesome sculpt, particularly because of the attachable Super pack. Some are turned off by her "torpedo tits", but I believe thats just some of the Charm Megahouse likes to include. While I dont plan to get the Max Factory Sheryl Figure, Their sister company Goodsmile and their Nendoroids of Ranka and Sheryl are actually pretty good. Sure theyre are the chibi kara series from bandai, but I prefer the Nendoroid Look overall. The crossover figures Banpresto also produced are really nice as well.

    contact reccommended for me to wait it out until release. he told me he found Isamu for $30-$50 below retail 2-3 months after the release. Im guessing from cancelled preorders. And with this being a normal release the chances of finding one after the storm are good. I wont argue, he goes to akibahara on a regular basis. It feels weird not having one spoken for, but im gonna place my faith in him.

    Missed these preorders. gosh. I can only hope my Contact in Japan caught wind of this and found a source. I was able to get my YF-29 Isamu from him, hopefully I can get the ozma the same way.

    SAL should not be used because of the Anxiety it induces. I think the best course of action is to just pony up the little extra and go for EMS. You'll sleep easier. But in other news, my YF29 Finally arrived from my friend in Japan, sent it monday and arrived the thursday. I have a feeling Customs has my name on file because it only spent a day and a half there. They must probably know me since I have packages coming from mandarake and Amiami coming every month.

    Well crap. There goes my Year. I dont know if I have any room for any more Valks, then bandai springs this on us. Its either Hovercopter over NY or Anime-Export or give my contact in Tokyo a call. With a May Release, I can only assume the preorders would start up soon. Not only that the YF30 is up this year too right? *Tableflip*
