You will want to be very careful when using it. The 16 is a little bit like honey. It is the better solution, though because it has more solids in it than the lighter solvents. This means that it can fill gaps, which is good since the base pieces don't sit 100% flush. You could try the weld-on 4 acrylic solvent. It is a lot more like water, but may be more difficult to get a good bond.
