  2. It should be sitting flush. There doesn't have to be an audible click.
  3. How is the YF-19 adapter?
  4. Those should work. Look for solvent/cement, not glue. You want to actually bond the pieces together, not adhere them.
  5. Nice pics.
  6. I don't know what I was expecting, but that sure is better. Your pics are always so clean.
  7. I would suggest acrylic solvent, not glue. You do not want silicone adhesive, as an example. It may seem like the thing to pick up at a hardware store, but it will no work well for this.
  8. Well, let's see it!
  9. Are all 8 studs connecting with the Lego bricks? I have not had any issues with fitment on the brick adapters, either with Lego or megablok brands. Does the 4x4 have the same issue? Are the bricks you are using it with old, or worn?
  10. Pretty awesome seeing pictures of these in the wild.
  11. I couldn't say either way as I have not tried it. Be careful, and use a well ventilated space, or just stick with the 3d printed base pivot.
  12. You will want to be very careful when using it. The 16 is a little bit like honey. It is the better solution, though because it has more solids in it than the lighter solvents. This means that it can fill gaps, which is good since the base pieces don't sit 100% flush. You could try the weld-on 4 acrylic solvent. It is a lot more like water, but may be more difficult to get a good bond.
  13. Cool. Keep in mind, if you aren't using the elbow for a more dynamic pose you can configure the stand as I have in that picture. The fewer the joints the sturdier it will be, especially with a heavy parts set. Not that having the elbow impairs it, I am just making a mechanical suggestion.
  14. I've got my tornado VF-25F rocking gerwalk.
  15. Saburo, have you decided on a valk to try on it?
  16. Nice pic.
  17. Again, I would advise using an acrylic solvent over a glue. A solvent will literally bond the 2 pieces together as if they are one solid piece. Not possible with laser cutting, but something I have already considered for an injection molded product. It would also help with the profile of the arm.
  18. Sounds like so far, so good. Anubis, there is protective paper on both sides of the acrylic pieces. Anyone have trouble with the feet? I hope the 3d printed guide helps.
  19. That was the compromise. I hope you like the stands! I can't wait to start seeing pics.
  20. I have been using this to great effect: http://www.amazon.com/SCIGRIP-10315-Acrylic-Cement-Low-VOC/dp/B003HNFLMY
  21. Thanks. The lack of control was a problem on this one. I need to find a way to make the production of the components closer to home. I am probably being overly critical, but I'd rather put the best thing out there I can.
  22. I am probably more anxious than you guys.
  23. That is sweet.
  24. Looks like tracking is updating. I hope all goes well.
