This had to go on a stand. My wife found these for me BNIB for Christmas. I am a fan of Alien, and I do recall seeing these on the shelves in the 90's. Never knew what the deal was with them, since they didn't look like anything from the movies. Turns out Kenner was launching this toyline alongside a cartoon. The cartoon was canceled, but Kenner was knee deep in merchandise and released them anyways.

Weight has yet to be an issue for the stand.

Do you have doubles for all of the variant parts? I see 4 VF-25f's, but only singles for the 29's. Is this all of your valks?

I am not as familiar with robotech. Do you have a link to the figure?

Well, thank you for the compliment. I have never weathered a model this large. I did a lot of tabletop wargaming growing up. My favorite part of that was assembling the models and painting them. Knowing how much I would spend on a single unit, and multiplying that by the sheer surface area of the PG.... I am not going to tackle that any time soon. I have seen some really nice custom paint jobs on these, though. The internal armature is very detailed and would lend itself to washes and drybrushing to great effect.

I just couldn't stop. It was a fun build. No panel lining or decals yet.

I get it. It is a great "value add". Kudos to your wife.

Wouldn't that be Miria, than? To be honest, your reviews have always been great. No need for the pandering.

I already ordered some stock. Next round won't be pre-paid.

I bolstered my macross collection by a ridiculous amount in 2014. 2015 looks to be pretty spendy as well! Lots of upcoming releases to be excited about.
-
Sounds good. Just let me know what you need.

Yes, the feet help plant it very firmly. There was a gold feet guide included. Looks like you free handed it. Should still be ok.

Well, a 1/60 VF-1 is a lot smaller than the other 1/60 Valkyries.
-
Entirely depends on how contrived your configuration is. 1 to 2 valks on a stand should be ok.

I figured things would start to click for people once they got them in hand. I have hardware on order and plenty of adapters and extra arms to go around. Just pm me what you need. I also placed an order for a good amount of stands, so I will have standing inventory in a few weeks.
-
Nice. Looks like you could use at least 1 XL arm on that stand.

My Arcadia VF-1s has no play in the adapter. Are your intakes pegged in tight? I have never used it with super parts attached. Maybe having the gerwalk joint bent is causing a little give. Edit: not sure how much give you are seeing. I just checked mine, and I can tilt it forward and back a degree or so. It is snug enough to stay where I leave it, though.

Nice setup! First triple I've seen other than my own. I like the V formation. More pics people! It is cool to see what you are all coming up with.
-
Yes, I have a selection of adapters still available. Just pm me what you need.
-
That is sweet! I still don't have any super/strike's for my VF-1s. Hurry up Arcadia!

I am liking the pics so far. I am going to end up F5'ing a hole in my keyboard.

Nice display, old man!
