  1. This is very doable. I don't have any detolfs. What is thickness of the shelf? I have been swamped with work. I'll take another pass at the model this weekend, and post progress.
  2. The sample size is too small to draw conclusions, and we are still a smaller subset of all owners of these figures. By looking at the poll as it is now you could easily say the issue is insignificant, or you could say there is a 1 in 10 chance your leg will fall off. The poll isn't definitive. Take it with a grain of salt.
  3. What Jenius said. Have your tried to transform, and pose yours yet, Sandman?
  4. Yes. They line up and lock perfectly in place....as long as the hip ball socket isn't mucked up with glue. I suspect you couldn't lock it up properly because the hip wasn't lining up due to its stiffness, caused by the excess glue, too large ball half, or both. Now that my leg is fixed, I can lock the leg in fighter, and gerwalk modes without issue.
  5. Extending the hips isn't the core issue. From my own experience, the leg can pop off regardless of the position of the hip extension. I am sure it would be easier to force the ball out of the socket if you extend the hips, but that doesn't effect the physical size of the ball, or the seepage of glue in the socket. Come to think of it, I did add a question to the poll asking people if they have transformed all of their VF-0's into all 3 modes.
  6. Got it. I thought I was clarifying a point. No intention to disagree. I have been craming out work stuff for a few overnights and am probably not making much sense.
  7. Not too much re-tooling from the D to the A, and even less from the A to the S.
  8. I made it a few weeks ago.
  9. Here is a poll I made for tabulating the issue. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=43175&st=
  10. Please post all discussions in the following thread. This topic is poll only. Mods, please sticky this poll for visibility. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=42180
  11. They are in my sig as well: https://imgur.com/a/mh4u9
  12. Why are we ragging on the 10/15 thing? I'd be annoyed too. We get it. Jenius was in the wrong for expecting some customer service from the retailer. The issue is the legs falling off. We all rant. We all want our $300 figures to be immaculate. This is a fairly questionable QC issue.
  13. The intake section, or the thigh parts secured with the metal pin? I had taken those pieces off a half dozen times by the time I made that video. The first time I separated them it was tough as hell. No glue from what I could tell. The intake halves are glued in with 2 plastic pins as I mentioned in the video. Let me know if I can help.
  14. That sucks. That is a terrible feeling.
  15. As soon as the laser cutter arrives.

  17. I saw that. I got an email from every rejected order, hahaha. Just under a dozen. The sprue is too thin where it connects, and they are concerned it will break off easily....which is the point. I am pushing my canceled order through "print it anyways". I'll post an update when it arrives. I am sure it is fine. The width of that connection is just over 1mm. Very printable, but of course not strong. It isn't suppose to be.
  18. That is pretty striking. Hahaha. Great pics.

    Vf-0 vs SV-51

Gundam@EFSF has now gained necromancer status.
  20. Awesome!
  21. Gundam over Macross, but Robotech over Gundam. Maybe? Gotta throw Battletech in there somewhere too.
  22. Of course, we are both speaking in generalities from what we have experienced. I could be completely incorrect. I just haven't seen much, in my experience, to the contrary.
