  1. Per my earlier post, Sentinel did nothing to improve the weak swivel joint on their initial Mospeada Ride Armor release. I purchased the reissue of Stick and Yellow hoping this was corrected; however, you can see from the photos that the swivel joints are still plastic and Stick is already showing a stress mark. I noticed the stress mark when I took the figure out of the package. Equally frustrating was Stick's leg and arm kept popping off. This may be an isolated QC issue with my figure since I haven't had any issues with Yellow. I also included a photo showing the positioning of the foot rest since the question was asked. With that all being said, these figures still look freaking awesome.
  2. Off topic from the current discussion being had but HLJ has the Genesis Climber Mospeada Magazine by Hobby Japan up for sale. My Riobot VR 041 Blowsperior & Yellow, by Sentinel, arrived from AMIAMI last week. I missed out on the first release so was thoroughly impressed with the figure after an initial look. Unfortunately, the swivel joint on the VR 041 still looks like the original plastic to me. I will transform it over the week and see if it may be an issue.. Finally I got my Mospeada Stick reissue by Sentinel. I purchased this reissue hoping they fixed the week swivel joint that tends to crack during transformation (If your not careful). The packaging is pretty much the same as the first release except for some added verbiage in English. To paraphrase, it states that replacement parts are available as long as the parts remain in stock. I will post pics shortly. You need to be careful b/c the right leg and left arm kept popping off on mine while posing. These were easy to reattach and can be avoided through careful handling. Not sure if its just my figure but I didn't have this issue with Lance. I am surprised how simplistic the end of the joints were while parts were detached. Sorry no pics at this time but will fish out the figs to submit photos. -Regards
  3. Yeah, mine should be arriving on Monday from HLJ. I'm interested to see if they made any improvements since the first release.
  4. I don't no...that shiny cyclone ride armor makes him look like a version of Marvel's Iron Man.
  5. Sorry folks for the large photo but I am not technically savvy. Depicted on the photo (circled in red) is the plastic piece in question. I own two Mospeada Riders but reluctant to transform or pose them because of this issue. Some have commented that the connector point arrived to them with stress marks, new in packaging. The submitted photo is not my own but credited to Jenius who submitted it on this forum. -Regards
  6. I echo MantisFists sentiment. I have ordered from GunDamit multiple times in the past with no issues. They have some great deals to be had under their "Flash Sales". Some may have an issue with their packaging. My items arrived with just plastic corner protectors. This has not been an issue for me since all packages arrived unharmed.
  7. In regards to the Sentinel Mospeada 1/12 VR-052F Stick reissue. I hope they fix those week connection points that plagued their initial release. If Sentinel made the improvements, I would replace the one I own in a heart beat. Can anyone confirm?
  8. That Cyclone Rider just looks overly designed and busy. Without his cyclone armor he looks like something out of Halo. I would be interested on what the price point and scale of these figures.
  9. Heads Up, Genesis Climber Mospeada RIOBOT VR-038L is on sale at BBTs. Check under "One Day Sale." Maybe good opportunity to get one if you missed out? . -regards
  10. I blame my farsightness for not finding the previous posts... Thanks no3Ljm for the information and great idea on account setup for notifications. Mog you have inspired me to do a repaint. I am totally going against the grain on this one and aim for a more contemporary look on the repaint. -Regards
  11. I plan on repainting Sentinel's Bartley in the near future. Any ideas on how difficult it may be to break down the armor? Any one knows if paint will adhere to the plastic or do I need to prep it with some sanding and primer? I am hoping someone has already tried to customize one. In regards to the Genesis Breakers, has there been a published release date or established price point? I would hate to miss out on a preorder. -Thanks
  12. Hello, I have read all the reviews and challenges to the Sentinel's 1:12 Mospeada Riders. I own two of them but have not taken them out of their packaging yet. Very disappointed about the manufacturer's QC as it relates to the plastic link/bracket that everyone complains about. Sounds like it cracks by just looking at it. I want to make sure I am not missing anything..but has there been any tested solutions to this issue? ...anyone fabricated a better bracket? ...3D replacement, anything? Read plenty of theories and potential solutions on this forum on how best to fix this but no comments on anyone following through with it. Thanks in advance...the Yellow looks great but I can't justify buying it if their are no fixes.. Oki
  13. Greetings, I am planning on purchasing a set of the shoulder hinges for my VF-O. Are you aware of any further incidents of Shapeway making the wrong hinge? What is the Bicep armor for? Is it an improvement or a cosmetic upgrade? Thank you for you time. Regards, Oki
  14. I picked up a 1/15 scale Mospeada Rider by Aoshima. I never heard of the company before. Are there any reviews or build tips for this kit? Thanks! Oki
