how about Warhammer 40k? i'd like to see a "power armor" movie done right at least once. they could build actual suits or paste real actor heads on CG suits. it would be awesome! as long as the likes of Boll, Anderson & Bay stay the hell away from it. it could be workable. you can take a slice out of existing continuity so you don't anger hordes of fans by ruining canon. you'd have your generic sci-fi story (us vs them, while saving a planet/splitting a planet), you'd have a background story for the sake of explaining things for the intelligent viewer, & tons of 'splosions & shooty for the remaining target audience. plus they can cook up a new Space Marine chapter so they can't (un)intentionally insult anybody. summer blockbuster for 200x ! we can't lose !

Rad Racer & Excite Bike 190 minutes of racing to the imaginary finish line while the lead character talks about himself & his wheels! and... Elevator Action !!! yes indeed. elevator action!

i got a set of that exact same figure for a little over $10 a piece. +/- $20 total for all 4. i got 'em at a shop called Special Toy Center in Greenhills Shopping Center, Manila. they have the whole set last time i checked. EDIT: edited 'cuz i was a dumbass

and you shall have "heroic" ! i just need time to hunker down & draw i figure this version of the VF-1 has all of the "wouldn't it be nice if..." so we have a VF-1 with modern Macross-y lines, shapes & attitude, advancements in technology since M+, and a little of VF-2 i suppose it's taller too. and of course... it belongs to SMS!

actually, the new gimmicks & paint don't really appeal to me, especially the new antennas, i like the ones on mine already. and it's not like it's a 1.0/2.0 VF-1 reincarnation. we all know why the 2.0 VF1 is superior... it's the elbows man! the elbows !!!

that's annoying as hell! i don't actually mind the gimmicky tank mode, redux bazooka & wrecking ball, but they couldn't have made the elbows double-jointed in the 1st place ?!?! this product displeases me so. the Daimos, on the other hand, i am very excited about. i must know the secrets of the transforming backpack parts! what's the release date on this thing?

Finally! confirmation of a strike Hikaru but scheduled for December... that'll be a very long wait.

i wanted to beef up the TH while keeping the old GBP presence, but not keep the uber-bulk. ...if that makes sense so this armor has even more missiles with 2/3 the bulk, & more plating while still showing a little skin. and it has a Pinpoint Barrier & Grappler System ! it's also why the gunpod is mounted on the arm. (i realized i screwed up the gunpod orientation, it's supposed to be right-side-up!) this armor was designed for smashing & crushing the bad guys ! i call it... Hel Crusher i really hope that VF-1 flies & fights by the end of the show, it would be the most bestest, awesomest pants shattering thing ever!

holy hell... do you realize that would mean total ruin for the movie? and we haven't even considered meddling from the local government/entertainment royalty! that's astounding failure in the making! I approve of this idea 100% ! or yeah, they could just re-dub Resiklo. ( the transforming robots will be in the sequel )

the hands are designed that way ?!?!? who the hell's in charge of their design team? a monkey wearing an Optimus Prime helmet? even with the charm of this line of toys, the hands just bring them down to "cheap kid's meal toy" level. i bought the Lockdown and had to modify the hands too. it's nothing i can't handle, but it's something i shouldn't have to deal with. from the box pics, the prototype looks like it had proper hands. what happened ? plus the fact that they can't hold anything... that monkey in the Optimus helmet sure has his peons afraid of designing proper hands.

interesting design, though it's kinda hard to make out where the transformy parts go. i used to sketch up my own valk designs too. back when i was young i don't quite remember if i broke my brain figuring out the transformy math, but yeah, it takes a lot of thinking. much more thinking than usual keep going at it, eventually, you're gonna be able to draw up a masterpiece

i felt the tunnel chase was missing some music, compared to the highway chase in Begins. but i guess it made for a more dramatic end for the sequence when the music finally kicked in. i need the DVD now!!!

ok, i don't know where that "angry" Southern Cross respose came from, but i sure as hell never mentioned anything about Southern Cross. i was simply expressing my dismay on what seemed like original(?) artwork & the talent behind it being wasted on the likes of HG. i was under the impression that the pics posted were original designs. because... well... they don't look like Southern Cross designs to me. i too, shall sigh. *le sigh*

but they hinted at the possibility of Catwoman. it coulda been nothing or a deliberate plant it was in that dialog between Wayne & Fox at the R&D building. that's kinda something to think about, with the movie being all about subtle hints & all.

a new joint? i hope that's for the areas that pop off a lot.

that's a pretty neat design. i'm with Roger on this one though, that does sound like too much wishful thinking & generosity. i for one wouldn't want HG anywhere near my designs. knowing how they do things, they're likely to sue me for a completely original design, while they claim it's part or derivative of their dubious IP. i'd prefer approaching Hasbro/TakaTomy instead. however unlikely, there's a better future there.
