    I always hated Humbrol paints because they were solvent based enamels. But the clear acrylic stuff in the video is being used EXACTLY like Future floor polish. It is even being dipped and airbrushed straight out of the bottle like Future. Not only does the label say acrylic, but the speaker in the video says the same. The texture and thickness does not look like any clear coats I've seen. It HAS to be another acrylic version of Future. I bet they even rebottled it! - MT

    Yeah, slide covered both points. Sometimes it's the decals or new tooling (which is costly). Usually, HLJ is good about mentioning new tooling, though. Try getting the part numbers and going to Hasegawa's site. That may clear it up for you. Ther good part about 1999.co.jp is that they have sprues pictures. That may give you more clues too. - MT

    Peanut butter with a baseball bat...! Yeah, K&J is great. I got their smallest one to put ordinance on a 1/350 model. There would be no other way to make them removable than to glue them without sacrificing detail. - MT

    Engraving on styrene is great! I'm in the middle of trying to get a kit out doing that myself. A friend has a large table and it took some calibrating, but we got it to work both doing both raster and cutting. We got engraved panel lines on cut-out pieces. I'm tempted to get a small engraver myself! - MT
