I've gone an a mad spree on youtube for videos on this show, and I did anybody notice that most of the Terminators are'nt that well built or not muscular enough ala Arnold in T1 and T2? Hmmm.... Maybe they should've hired some of the WWF stars. :-)

OK just read through the thread and I had a few questions: 1) What's up with the external weapons? I thought the trend from Macross Plus onwards was STEALTH and INTERNAL WEAPON BAYS. Could this be a hint that the VF-25 might be AVF's but w/o stealth. Maybe something like: VF-19 & VF-22 = Highly advanced Fighters with stealth technology but still expensive to manufacture. VF-25 = the new VF-1 or VF-11, perhaps that are mass produced cheaply, has no advance stealth tech but instead has the other advanced tech that were developed in the Project Super Nova fighters. 2) Also why do I get get the feeling that the X-9 Ghost are a descendant thereof is going to make an appearance, Perhaps simliar to the Ghosts we saw in Macross ZERO? 3) Are any Destroids? 4) Finally did anybody think that the insignia on the helmet of the Roy Focker-type character, seems to be.... I don't know..... BUTT UGLY?

hmm...... Just been to animesuki lately and it seems in the novels the "ARX-8" has appeared. WTF!? So I was wondering are there gonna be models of it soon or are we gonna have to wait after the ARX-8 is animated in an FMP series or movie??? BTW, so as not to spoil anyone just google for the ARX-8. No need to post here. :-)

@Mr March: The exclusion of original "12-unit limit" did also escape me while reading the article. I just reliazed that without that limit we can now trully engage in massive battles. A lot more massive than the original SC, IMHO.

Just saw the Youtube video, and: OUCH!!! The driver of the technical got it worse than the gunner. .50 up close and personal. Its a bit gritty and VERY bloody as hell. I'm still gonna reserve judgment on it though. Might watch it if it comes out.

That's just lame. Considering that a friend of mine watched Shrek AND saw the TF trailer. The starting sequence though of the trailer was kinda misleading. I thought I was watching some father-son type drama or something.

I'm more curios though on the specs on this thing. Would p4 Northwood with the a mid-end AGP video card still run this? I'm guessing this thing uses a derivative of the warcraft iii game engine.

The Blackout transformation sequence reminded me a lot of Roy Rokker in the VF-0S. You know the episode where after he transformed to Battroid mode he picked up a boulder and used it as a decoy against Ivanov. Oh yeah, Starscream backflipping then transforming into a Raptor FTW!!! I sooooo get it now, why the original G1 transformation sounds would not sound right if used in the movie.
