YAY!!! Another group/crew is subbing MF now. BTW, anybody saw this group's sub? How does it compare to Shinsen's, Gattai's or even AiA's? Personally, I'm sticking to AiA, however its very compelling to go with Shinsen's because its Xvid/AVI, which is easier on my hardware. :-)

BTW, three episodes have come and go and I'm wondering..... Am I the only one who is missing the old flight suits from DYRL, and Macross Plus (Isamu's Suit) variety? The new flight suits are just... I don't.

So that's what happened to Pizza Hut. Heh. its been two episodes already in Code Geass R2 and I haven't seen the Pizza Hut shameless plug. I guess Pizza Hut ain't supporting the Rebellion this time around. Anyways, azrael are we gonna be seeing Pizza Hut within MF itself like what happened to Season 1 of Code Geass? I'm already ROFL-ing at the prospect of Captain Klan Klein ordering a super-sized pizza.

Now that you mentioned it. When I realized that Ozma's unit was flying in an artificial Earth-like atmosphere with that huge amount of armor, I went WTF!!!!??? If it was in space It was believable. I mean the original full armor from Macross Zero being used by Roy could only hover inside the Asuka. Over Technology must have really gone a long way in helping those new armor add-ons for the VF-25 become that lightweight. OR am I analyzing this the wrong way and the new add-ons are quite heavy, but is compensated by the VF-25's use of some very powerful engines.

But, according to your profile your a Bridge Bunny, so you can't be Cannon Fodder. But anyways, SEE even Zinjo found it a bit disturbing when Ozma savored the kill with the use of the glowing knife (Monomolecular Cutter from FMP?). This would give gives us more to speculate about whether: a) Ozma is a WAR JUNKIE OR b) He encountered the Varja (while still with NUNS) before and is now (with SMS) looking for some PAY BACK!!!

Wouldn't be funny that instead of: "That's no Gilliam. It's some newbie." Ozma would instead, "That ain't Gilliam. It's some fracking n00b." Anyways.....I've re-watched the episode for the nth time and I'm still not getting over the mad flying and the dodging enemy fire down by Alto while being covered by Mikhail. That was some pretty nice action sequences right there. More Macross pr0n, please.

I'd go with Eclipse, since there subs of Claymore were pretty darn good.

I cringe at the thought of VF-19s being pwned by the Varja. A feel sorry for the modern day fighter pilot who will be the first to experience the effects of an Itano Circus. Anyways,...just a thought when Alto's Gun Pod ran out of ammo why didn't he reload? Would this suggest that the VF-25 uses the old school VF-1-like gun pod that needs to be reloaded at a F.O.B. and not the new one's like the VF-19's GU-15, which uses clips of ammo and can be reloaded by the VF itself? Speaking of missiles, I've read somewhere here in MW something about the VF-25 being "thin" compared to previous VFs. Am I to assume that the VF-25 has no internal missile bays like the VF-19 & VF-22 then? ALSO... Just had a thought that if the technology in Macross mirrors some of the advances in the real world wouldn't it be a safe bet to say that in MF's 2059 timeline the roles of the various fighters that appeared since Macross Plus are like: F-15 & F-14 = VF-19 & VF-22 | Since they are expensive to produce and maintain, only a small number of them are in service, thus leading presumably to development of the VF-25. (I'm taking a wild guess on this one.) F-18 Super Hornet; F/A-18 Hornet & F-16 = VF-25 | Since they are multi-role/all-around fighters (thanks to the different packs it uses) and are (I'm assuming) inexpensive to produce and maintain. They also inherited technology (I'm assuming again) that are derived from the VF-19 & VF-22. VF-17 = No idea what real world fighter it reflects.

Homage to Macross Plus? Too bad Ozma and the Red Bug did'nt have the fast paced brawl like the one Isamu and Guld had in the last part of Macross Plus. :-( I would have loved to see the PBB Punch again. BTW, was the PBB system ever seen in action in the two episodes thus far? I wonder what weapon Luka/Luca has since he is the Skull Squadron's ELINT Seeker-type unit, wouldn't that mean that he is unarmed and thus more vulnerable than the rest of the squad.

Hey I just realized that before Ozma's bad ass unit, the only way for a VF to have such firepower was to be using something like a GBP armor system similar to the ones used in Macross Zero by Roy and Hikaru in SDFM. IIRC that system required the VF to be in batrroid mode all the time, it cold never transform while encased in the armor. Anyways.......... on the topic of transformation speed, I think its still the same, although I haven't seen episode 2 yet. But in all in all it doesn't bother me that much.
