As for me, my fave VFs are: TOP 5: 1) VF-25 = All that versatility with the use of the different PACKS made me fall in love with it. And did I mention that the the TRANSFORMING Heavy Armor pack is just AWESOME!!! 2) YF-19 "Alpha One" = The only version I ever liked of the 19s. I did not like what came after it though: Fire Valkyrie, VF-19S, VF-19F, Super Packs seen in M7, etc., etc. 3) VF-0S = I feel that a version of these babies equiped with those thermonuclear engines could have pwned the VF-1. 4) SV-51 = Don't know why I like it really. It must be the tactical versatility like using the retractable head to assist in firing at an opposing VF while "in defilade"? 5) VF-1S = I love it, because it was the catalyst that started my love affair with Macross and VFs. Special Mention: VF-17/VF-171 = I recently google this VF and there is a version of it equiped with a Super Pack. The addition of the pack made it loke really menacing. Uhmmm......saw the episode today. So I guess I'm pretty much a believer now on who Brera's mysterious handler is. Saw the preview as well, I guess more mecha pr0n next week!!!! YAY!!! But one question....What the frack is up with Zentraedi MALES piloting Q-Raus???? Were the heck the the Male Power Armor go.?

I believe it is Lunar who uses "slang" in its translation. But despite that it doesn't bother me that much thus I'm going with them (AND Shinsen Subs) for now. IIRC, when they started subbing MF, Duke Togo mentioned that gg has a tendency to use the "F" word in its translations. AGAIN, thanks to Shouta and the rest of the AiA-IZ crew for there wonderful subs of MF 1 to 10. We really appreciate the work you guys/gals do in giving us our weekly dose of Macross Frontier.

Anyways, I just realized after editing this pic http://i31.tinypic.com/2928ies.png that the wings and the vertical stabilizer of the VF-25 are also encased in armour. So does that mean that the VF-25 with Armor Pack relies heavily on verniers for manuverability?

Total VF-25S Full Armor Missile Count = 214 micro-missiles, full load. That's definitely one huge load out for the VF-25. An Itano Circus of Orgasmic Proportions. BTW, in comparison how much missiles do the Super Pack have?

Actually.....Sheryl is gonna use her whip/microphone as the control mechanism for her own VF-25 "Sheryl Special." Anyways as someone pointed out.... Macrosss 7 had subtle refernces to Mac Plus and full blown references to SDFM DYRL, and in MF we have subtle refernces to Macross 7 and full blown reference to Mac ZERO. So it made me wonder maybe the Legend of Zero and the Destroids are not just the only MZ references in MF, maybe there will be more like amybe........ Ivanov vs. Fokker dogfights???

Its not a VF-25S actually. Notice there are only TWO head lasers. Isn't that just the Armored Pack? I mean its kinda huge for a Super Pack, plus IIRC the Super Pack doesn't provide the kind of armor protection. Check out the legs on the VF in the pic Morpheus provided. That's definitely not standard on a Super Pack, its more standard in the Armored Pack.

Which will ultimately lead to the introduction of the VF-25 and the VF-27.

BTW, just curious aren't gunpods fatal to nearby personnel when they suffer a catastrophic hit? Like what happened to Luca's GP in episode 7. Shouldn't laser fire from Brera's GP at least triggered a "cook off" for Luca's GP and in turn the resulting explosion should have killed both Alto-Hime and Luca? Plot Armor, perhaps?

I liked both. The awesome battle with the Renegade Power Armors in episode 1 of the OVA was pure win. On the other hand, the YF-21 v. YF-19 "brawl" & the extended sequence of Isamu's "sky writing" with the YF-19 (loved the Battroid flyby BTW), which were all from the movie was simply AWESOME!!!! BTW.....what is the title of that acapella-like song played in the Movie version of M+? You know the one were the YF-19 and YF-21 are both put through there paces. It also had that YF-19 v. YF-21 "performance comparison chart/scoreboard."

Thank God for that. Since Gattai bugged out, I've been checking out Lunar's work (I usually go with AiA & Shinsen though) and they seem to be okay. The propensity for using slang doesn't bother me as much as I thought. BUT as always to all the groups subbing MF.......Sankyou!!! We really appreciated the work you do, all "drama" aside.

Finally saw episode 10 today and I would like to congratulate Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. for their very long lasting Sikorsky SH-60/MH-60 Seahawk, which is still used in the year 2059, which is 80 years since its 1979 introduction. But seriously with the advent of those thermonuclear engines used by the VFs is it still really necessary to have rotary wing aircraft, especially in Frontier. I mean where are the ISSCVs? Or better yet, T3H Marine Dropship from Aliens!!!
