You guys are way too paranoid. Got three and all three are just fine with no sign of stress marks or anything like the CF's. Feels just as durable as the VF-171EX alto which was pretty much perfect. I like how the RVF-171 looks with armor parts on

the hi-metals as is are good considering the scale. integrated heat shield will break because there simply isn't enough size to have something sturdy in there. plus, it would drive the cost up even further. people need to actually hold a vf hi-metal in order to appreciate how small they really are

ZOMG........ Hi-metal revival..... So freaking happy I don't have to track down a webstore MAX.... now I can get M&M's and a buttload of CF valks Hi-metals are freaking awesome. Just make sure to steal your lady-friend's nailpolish for the ball-jointed foot joints, unless they decide to fix those.

I honestly don't like the michaels. Too much Blue. The Altos with red highlghts look better for me. Maybe someday I'll color the red orange to match :0 Ah snap I need to dust my photo booth :0

While we'll most likely get supers, I really wish we could have Tornado or Armored YF-25's too :0 Also, hope one day to see the Leon Version. Perhaps it'll be a web exclusive?

Only the CF's have issues. I have 5 altos and none of them have issues at all. They are perfect, except for the fact that they're piloted by a wimpy wannabe girly boy and not somebody cool like diamond force.

Man that sucks. The first thing I did when I opened all my 171's was I loosened those screws to avoid the cracks. The black plastic they used really sucked hardcore.
