I just don't like that I can't get the phat discounts I get on regular releases To compare, I paid ~60 each for my MG GM Command units, but only $29 each for the Mass release Ground version preorders coming out in January. Literally the same model sans the Beamgun and backpack of the space version and for half the price :0 Also bought all my regular GM Sniper 2's for under $35 while the P-Bandai one costed me ~$60 each as well

I didn't quit collecting but I did quit over-collecting. I used to buy any Bandai Macross thing in multiples whether I liked it or not, just because it was Macross because I'm so used to the Macross Drought from mid 1980's --> mid 2000's. It was addicting and very financially taxing. Macross Delta wasn't my cup of tea + the valks are way too expensive so it was easier to quit the Macross Addiction. I also sold off everything in storage because if it isn't being displayed it's not worth having. It was surprising how much money was spent. All the money went into my Retirement accounts right away so that it was locked away and I wasn't tempted to start collecting something else with the windfall. Now I am strict about my collection. If I don't have space for it I don't buy it and if I want it badly enough I'll need to sell or give something away to make space for it. It's really made me trim down my collection to what I actually love / can't live without and I think it's way healthier than it used to be.

Why Bandai? Why torture us with more P-Bandai? I could deal with it if the TR-1 regular was a normal release and the titans was P-Bandai... but both P-Bandai when the kit is like 85% new is crap

I dunno what it is. I was so hyped for the VF-31A and now that I have the funds and can buy multiples I ... just don't feel the need to anymore... All the Master Grade Gundam 0080 and MSV crap I always wanted as a kid suddenly being released might have something to do with it... *shrug* I guess Passion for a series really does affect purchasing decisions

I bought an Iwata Eclipse HP-CS and an Iwata Sprint IS-800 bundle off Ebay for $200 which is an insane deal. Considering how easy it is to use Vallejo Air and Ammo Mig paints I would never bother with the Gundam Airbrush system since it just seems like a PITA.

There's been an update on the Gundam Airbrush System. SO apparently you can't just throw any marker up there and spray, you need to replace the tip/core of markers you want to use on the airbrush with the special ones provided in the set. Base set has 3 cores and you have to buy additional cores for all the other markers you wish to use. It costs 270 yen to get 6 cores, so basically 45 yen to add airbrush functionality to any gundam marker. Still not 100% sure I'd be up for this. Gundam Mecha color from Vallejo has been so easy to use on my Iwata and I feel weird spraying color onto unprimed surfaces :0

If anyone's wonder how Vallejo mecha color line is it's pretty darned good. Colors look to be pretty on-point and they are pre-thinned so can be given a good shake and then dripped straight into the airbrush from the dropper bottles. As soon as I run to the store and replenish my pledge / future gonna gloss coat this custom MG RX-78 Origins - Titans ver and then do the panel lining and decals hehe
