Even if you have the nub that broke off super glue won't be enough; it'll just snap off again. The best solution would be to bum a part off another MW member but I can guarantee you're to have a hard time finding a matching color part. If you want to do self repair, it can be a PITA but you'll need: Thumbtack Pin-vise with ~1 MM drill bit Wire or paperclip that's thin enough to fit in ~1mm hole Some sort of hard putty or milliput Fine File or sandpaper Super glue Something that can cut paperclips Use the file/sandpaper to lightly flatten the area where the nub broke off Use the thumb-tack and carefully pin the center of the break-area so that there's a small pin-hole in the middle of the area. Using the pin-hole you made as a guide, use pin-vise to drill into the part. I went about 3 millimeters down. Make sure your paperclip is flat on the end. If not, use file to flatten it. Alo, score the paperclip by filing it on the sides. This gives better grip for the super-glue. Put glue on Paperclip, then insert in hole. let cure. Trim the pin you glued in so that it fits the indent in the leg for The original Peg. (You could theoretically stop at this point, but you'd have a pretty loose landing gear door when open.) Use Putty / Milliput to fatten up the peg so that it's close to the size of the original peg. use File / Sandpaper to smoothen the fat peg until it's flush with the gear door and that it fits into the indent for the original peg. Here's the instruction manual on assembling the leg so you can put everything back together when done.

I finally got my two sets from Anime Export via SAL. Still feel like it's aoverpriced considering I got vf-25 armored parts at retail and those only cost 800 yen more when they were released, but still 1000x better value than the YF-29 parts. I think I'm only going to buy 1 set of supers for each valk from this point on. Will have 2 of each VF-31, one supered and one naked. Rarely ever see the valks in super parts anyways in the show, let alone in other modes other than Scissors fighter

I dunno why, but part of me thinks the super release is a wasted opportunity to have included the Speaker Pod and reaction weapon arm shields... It definitely would have lowered the sticker shock

NY was the cheapest at like 5200-ish yen. I nabbed a zero. Can't wait for the econo ingrams and maybe the helldiver and phantom one day. Now that the Zero is coming out, I wonder if they'll re-release unit 1 and 2 in Movie Colors?

Yahoo auctions is pretty ghetto in terms of getting boolean searches to work well on the platform unlike Feebay. Usually you can only enter a few search terms. Companies Yamato: やまと Arcadia: アルカディア Bandai: バンダイ Hasegawa: ハセガワ General Terms Macross: マクロス Chogokin: 超合金 (DX超合金 or just DX get hits too) Renewal：リニューアル Hi-Metal (Sometimes not listed in English) : ハイメタル Usually a combo works. For example... DX超合金 リニューアル brings up mainly Macross Frontier V2's. Also, I find that Bandai valks are usually listed un-scaled so only put the scale when looking for Yamacadia or Hasegawa kits.

Eventually these things will be easy to get for everyone. I actually ordered switch #2 from Nippon-Yasan of all places. It ended up being $346 with shipping which isn't too horrible considering the switch woulda cost 335-ish after tax her anyways. Now I just get to wait for it to arrive........

Yahoo Auctions have always been a great source of super cheap stuff. I used to use fromJapan as a proxy due to their pretty nice Bid Sniper system and their decent rates, but then I got married and I just have all my crap shipped to my wife's family home in Japan so shipping is like nothing. I even set up a bank account in Japan so it's super easy to pay for auctions without getting nailed by proxy fees. After all that lemme tell you. PROXY SERVICES ARE WAY CHEAPER THAN MARRIAGE

I will totally grab an AV-X0. When I was a kid and mail-order was still done by snail-mail and bank-checks I ordered an Ingram and they sent me a Zero instead and I was still happy... lol. I hope this sells well and maybe they'll look into the peacemakers so that I can finally throw my CM's peacemaker in the trash where it belongs

this is why i order exclusives from anime export. they only charge base item up front and have similar system to HLJ PW. also, they don't have retarded shipping the only benefit of NY is cheap 1st run preorder and pay later. with exclusives they don't offer that so..... choose anime export

As long as you're not like digging your finger nails into the panel lines flory's stays on really well without clear coat, especially with small panel lines like on the HMR's.

If you guys want to panel line and are super lazy like me just get a bottle of Flory's Model Wash and never look back. It's a water based wash using clay pigment and not only flows super well, if you're an advanced user (not Duy) you can smear it for weathering as well. This literally took 5 minutes with just a brush and a moist papertowel

MG Unicorn Ver Ka had a buttload of decals if I recall. I'd expect the RG to include a bunch of red text decals to bring it in line with the rest of the RG line. They love their red text :0

welp... I'm going to be switch-less for about 6 weeks... Wife asked if she could take the Switch and MK8D to Japan to play with her sister. In return she'll pickup some Ez to find crap in Japan like the Hori Stand and the Seiken Densetsu collection that's being released in June. Maybe I should buy a second switch......

I can't recall if the paintguns were ever used on the actual ingrams. I only remember the training ingrams using them O_o. Might have to re-watch the show.. hmm... training ingrams... THOSE would be a legit webshop awesome exclusive, not an iconic mecha like unit 2... that'd be almost as freaking retarded as Macross making Roy a webshop exclu....oh wait....nm

Wow that's really odd O_o Bandai Fail. The Ingram 1's pop up here and there on Madarake and Jungle. I think I got mine on YHA 2 yrs ago for 29800 yen which isn't awful. If you get one make sure you grab the pit-road 1/24 command car too. 1/24 Yammy is still the best ever Ingram toy imho. My only complaint is the half-assed patlamp lights that don't look nearly as good as the Bandai 1/35 or the CM's Brave Gohkin

Woo Hoo, unit 2 finally came in. Customs only held it for 28 days :0 I think all unit 2's came with the paint guns and they're pretty underwhelming for exclusive accessories. Was kinda surprised the riot gun doesn't have a moving stock, you need to parts-form it to have it deployed or stowed. Otherwise great release

That's a cool-looking VF-1S. it kinda reminds me of those bootleg valks you see in Chinatown, which is why I might just pass on it lol If they're dabbling in Macross Delta I would've totally gone for a VF-1EX Hayate / Mirage double-set. Oh well.....

Out of 12, 5 had triangles broken. I actually bought sturdy 3d printed triangles for all the gerwalk / battroid ones since you don't need the tampo details visible. I then uses all the OEM triangles I removed from those 8 valks to mix and match for a good set of 4 for the fighter modes valks. Do IT. Join the evil VF-171 bandwagon. I bought most of mine for 30-60% off MSRP from Mandarake and other members who got bumb VF-171's Radar Domes 4 life
