  1. Trust me many of us wish there was a uniqlo for our valks too :0
  2. Oooh that looks awesome. Scared of the pricetag though.
  3. What? 99% Fighter only while doing Scissors manuevers and dramtically yelling "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh" with speed lines doesn't count as action?
  4. Wow that's rough. The only way I've seen this type of thing fixed is by pinning the piece in conjuction with an epoxy like JBweld. Drilling for pin prep is the huge PITA part when it comes to Diecast as Diecast is porous and actually brittle compared to regular machined / forged / stamped steel. You'll need a vice and a drill press to properly drill a ~1 mm hole. Don't expect to be able to do it by hand with a dremel as drill bits will skip like hell on diecast and you're more likely to end up with the drill bit in your finger / hand. Once you do have a hole it's just a matter of getting a properly sized steel pin, score it with a file and then use an epoxy as an adhesive.
  5. none of my hmrs or even regular. hi metals have that leg issue. i blame lazy person who transformed it for the photos
  6. I don't think it's a removable canopy. I just think that proto they were transforming didn't have clear parts on it. It doesn't even have the landing lights for the shins installed.
  7. Bandai Appears to have updated their listing for the upcoming MG GM 2.0 - White Dingo Version. Now with added Rocket Launcher. Too bad it's the ancient one from the MG Ground Gundam from 18 years ago. Wish we could get an updated bazooka that has a swivel like the HG GM Ground type revive has
  8. I just finished the test-fit on the EVO GM Spartan Conversion kit. Will need throw everything in a bin with some dish soap before the priming begins.
  9. don't feel lile turning this into an arcadia thread, but they could prolly get some funding by offering kit versions of the 1a/j/s or even their vf-0's.
  10. Ooh noice. That's the completed version which is actually pretty well made. I bought a pre-made one 2 yearss back because I was lazy and I don't regret it
  11. Well, actually it was from user feedback. When the Draken is mentioned I read this "ユーザーからもその変形の難易度が高いとの声があった" Basically translates to a lot of users said the transformation was hard Can you believe that? Bandai actually does listen to customers sometimes hehehe. Maybe they can listen to us about the YF-19's reversed colors and huge ass white wing lettering? Anyhow, really psyched for this VF-1J. The Plastic Latch for the metal swingbar looks like something I'm gonna need to be really gentle with. Folding Nosecone for GBP, nice catch

    Bandai DX VF-31

Part of me wants to pick up Chuck but the other part of me wants to hold off and save the cash for the Armored Pack for the 31S and all those inevitable DX VF-1's
  13. Figma's are 1/12 scale right? It would be crazy cool to have these displayed with my new Riobot Mospeada stuff
  14. ultra psyched to complete the four main ride armor characters. if they so throw in some faceless grunts or the one episode character ride armors i will need to get more display space....
  15. Woah. Is this a sneak peak of Kicker's display case for his upcoming DX 1/48 collection?
  16. saw this on reddit
  17. I'm sure there will be lots available at release in December. I think the only reason to go nuts for this PO was the special first edition base. On a different note, My 15-year old Low VIZ guys are happy to have more 1/48 buddies after a decade and a half. I will prolly nab a few of the new pretty Bandai hands of my 1j's and see if they can be modded and painted to fit the yammy 1/48
  18. Wow. We haven't seen NY multi-round price ups since the Mac F Renewal days
  19. This has been crazy anti climactic. I easily got 2x Amiami and 1x HS....
  20. I don't even know why I'm so excited over a VF-1J that I've bought 6 iterations of already (Yammy V1, 1/48, V2, Arcadia Armored, Bandai Hi-Metal, Hi-Metal R) I guess it's like how Gundam fans have no qualms buying the RX-78-2 over and over again.
  21. ONE? ONLY ONE?!??!
  22. Surprisingly affordable. Honestly I don't even care if I even have to pay all up front for this sucker to secure a preorder or two...... or three..... MY 1/48 collection is limited to just 2x Low Viz 1's and an Armored Low Viz 2 and I already sold off my entire 1/60 V2 collection so the funds are ready
  23. Don't believe what anyone says about "skipping" the Preorder on this. Everyone and their brother will try to preorder one on 7/27 and spend 2-3 months actually thinking about whether or not they want it. As an East-coaster I will be fully caffeinated and already took a vacation day from work. Even if I am defeated by Spinning Death Wheel of NY I get a 3-day weekend. win-win
  24. God F--cking Dammit all..... now I have to re-do my year-end budget for this. On the plus side I have a spare Gummy 1/48 Yammy DYRL pilot that I'm going to slap into this sucker.
