Welp. That's an easy skip for me. To be honest I think I've got Port Fatigue. With work and the wife my game-time is limited to my train commutes and I prefer to play new games and experience new stories; not repeat the old ones I played to death years ago when I had more free time.

Worked on some Ma.k Snake-eyes on my last few days off from work. I'm addicted to these 2.5" tall egg soldiers :0 They have been great practice for doing free-hand two-tone camo / blending. Just a touch of tamiya weathering powder was used to add some dirty-ness and break-up some of the solid colors.

These are ok if you only intend to keep them in one mode and you want something in 1:100. Otherwise avoid like the plague.

I prolly should try that. Will just need to do some cutting to mod these mono-pose figs Other than the air-brushed base-coat and the final flat-coat everything was done during night-shifts at work haha I managed to churn out another 4 Safs units but decided to try a 2-tone paint scheme. Should have the series 2 figs in soon so the 5th in this squad will be a racoon type safs. I prolly need to adjust my lighting setup because the M on the fig on the left looks like it has a super bright-white M even though in reality it's a dirty brown-ish

I think Vallejo are a great paint to use. IN terms of performance the Mecha colors are really no different than the rest of the vallejo air line other than the colors that are more tailored to the Gundam U. The Matte Varnish tends to be a little thick and needs a little thinning. The most convenient part of the Vallejos is definitely the dropper bottle that allows super easy use with the airbrush. I wish Tamiya acryls came in dropper bottles too :0

Such a beautiful box. We need a new Tenjin art-book with all these HM-R paintings. On a side note, i wonder why Bandai switched to a blue logo. Seeing the change on all my gundam stuff too.

These look like a mix of the Diaclone powered suits, a bit of votoms, and a bit of hexa-gear. Interesting concept.

Man I wish I had enough room in my place to build big stuff like that Boat mechtech's got. if I did I'd fill it with more Safs :0 Been on a maschinen krieger bender. Just made a new squad from those 1/35 gachanen kits. Never thought I'd have so much fun doing little 2.5" tall egg soldiers.

The MG Alex 2.0 is getting a face mask and a broken V-Fin. Face mask looks cool but it makes it look very "Duel Gundam" ish

I'm impressed that the VF-31 Armored pack costs nearly as much as a VF-31 O_o I only have 1 VF-31 left and it's for a custom. Gotta nab this armored pack for that

Film was enjoyable but yeah it felt kinda rushed. It's almost like it was supposed to be 2-3 movies and then got crammed into one lol. My Wife has refused to go watch a movie with me ever since I took her to the Last Jedi (she said she couldn't trust my taste in movies)... but I convinced her to see Alita because Edward Norton is one of her Celeb crushes. Surprisingly she enjoyed the flick too

Considering this was a "First Press Edition" You'd just have to assume the 1J is gonna get re-released again. I don't know if it'll be as early as when the GBP or supers are released, but for sure it'll happen again.

It's an updated Dom featured in ZZ Gundam and also in Unicorn. You really can't tell as easily from the front but when you look at it from the back it has much more variation. WOW. that's a lot more updates than I had imagined. It's more like a DOM 1.5 at that point. Really puzzling that such an updated kit would be P-Bandai O_o

That is like the 1st Dom in 1/100 in a long time O_o Though the Dwadge being P-Bandai has me worried it's going to be using 20-yr old DOM as a base, which would be just as disappointing as the MG Heavy Gundam and Powered GM which also used ancient base-kits :0
