Yammie 1/48 Micro Missile packs still hold up after nearly 20 years

I am feeling high levels of salt right now.... I found I had a tupperware full of 1/48 yammie missiles in storage and with just a few swipes of a file I was able to get them to fit just fine on the 1/48 DX..... Looks like I'll be selling those two overpriced DX missile sets I preordered since I have enough yammy missiles to equip a fleet of VF-1's

I'm suddenly feeling like it's it'll be 100x easier to build a 1/48 Hase and apply all those decals than it woujld be to secure a 1/48 VF-1S DX preorder. Already got so much practice building the 1/72's. Seeing these pics is pushing me closer to doing that

considering NY's first preorder was 160 usd the new markup is unacceptable. Don't fall for the markup crap they did all thru the frontier days. closer to release there will be waves and waves of preorders as scalpers reneg on their preorders and/or HLJ and amiami clean out all the fake account orders that goto the same address and such. You will be able to get a valk then. don't feed the scalpers and give them more motivation to do the BS they are doing. Just keep watching this board and when the PO randomly opens up somebody will report it here.

Pay up front will definitely discourage scalpers though. It's 10x easier to get a no-cost PO and then get hte inflated funds to pay for it than it is to put up all the cash up front and then hope somebody buys ur inflated product. One is no-risk ez cash, the other is actual skin in the game.

Can somebody make an animated GIF of the 1st episode of MacF where those VF-171's all launch missiles (preorders) at the varja and the varja just release those counter measure nets (server errors) all over? that's prolly the best visualization of tonight's PO madness

Got a report back from my bud in Japan. His wife got a preorder for the 1A at Yamada Denki. The shop only was able to get an alottment of 3 in the middle of bufu Gunma. They got the last one....... His wife now knows how much all those DX chogokins cost. Press "F" for his marital bliss.

People should watch Anime Export and Bandaionline. Both are very reliable, but are pay-up-front shops. Both are 100x more reliable than nin-nin

Honestly I think Kakizaki will be easier. Luca's rvf-25 was so easy to get since the PO window was more like 45 seconds instead of 5.

My friend in Japan just struck out at all the online shops. He just asked his wife to goto their local Yamada Denki to preorder the item since he's at work. Up until now she never knew how much Macross DX stuff costs. He wants the 1A so bad he is willing to put his marriage on the line. I will never be so hard-core
