The VF-1 and YF-19 were done with Hasegawa instructions. Most everything else i've done was from photos found on the net. I'd use model directions for everything if it was possible.

Anyone got a nice high res picture of the Macross Kite Logo? Maybe from the Hasegawa decal sheets? And a high res of the Valkyrie Girl logo?

Well, since i've got the VF-1 back kinda... the aircraft carrier tow tractor will be missed the most. I was really happy with that model. Here's a link to an old thread of my stuff. Its got a pic of battloid mode. Old Thread

Well... I've got some good news... for me atleast. I was able to piece together an almost complete vf-1 from corrupt files that would open but had missing parts or missing alot of polygons in the parts. I had about 300 progress files of the vf-1 saved, out of those, 5 would open....and those 5 files were pretty old. The only bad part is that all my texture maps are gone. The left wing texture is all that was left. So I hope after a few weeks of modeling and texturing it should be back to where it was a week ago. I will back up the files this time!!! I think I will do that right now!

Well guys, good luck with the project. As of 10:30pm 9/9/2003 my VF-1J is gone. Hard drive crash killed almost all of my stuff. Models That Are Gone. Macross/Robotech models. Hey Wolf, are you converting the macross to truespace also? If so, maybe I can help with the big ass render of it. I got bored today and decided to render all my finished macross / robotech aircraft. The only aircraft missing that i've already started is the X-9 Ghost. I'm still waiting for good reference pictures so i can finish it. Anyone got a top view of it?

i don't know about the girl licking the under side of the valk, but the face on the main girl looks better in the first picture. I love the style. good job!

Thanks to DatterBoy's post on my forum, he got me off my ass and made me transform my VF-1J into something other then fighter mode. This is the first time its been in gerwalk mode since I started it...... like 2 years ago. All the the textures I made were for fighter mode only, I didn't bother with the rest since everytime I put it into battroid mode it looked terrible. So the leg textures are wrong on the inside of the legs, no arm or backpack textures, and the parts that hold the arms on, the rear landing gear doors, and the lights in front of the rear landing gear haven't been modeled yet, etc... So after a little bit of messing with the hip area here it is.... Sorry, big pic.

I just got my box of these yesterday. They are pretty cool. My girlfriend spent 20 minutes taking the heads off and putting them on different bodies. it was pretty funny. For a girl that has never watched macross, she sure did think they were cute enough to steal all the doubles i had. Here's one of her "Masterpieces"

Yep, thats kinda where I got the idea. I love that shirt, too bad its old and the printing on the back is wearing off and i'll never be able to replace it.

Here's a site I started making a long time ago. It was suppost to look like a company website for Stonewell/Bellcom. My plan was and still kinda is to model all the aircraft that Stonewell/Bellcom made. Once I get some line art for the VF-0 I'll start on it and maybe finish the site. The VF-0 page is just a copy of the vf-1 page since I dont have any info on it. Tell me what you guys think so far. WebSite Brian
