Yea it does feel off in the sense of uneasiness. But what I don't get is why ppl are using this against the episode, its pretty good storytelling IMO.

Just watched the episode and everyone's covered pretty much everything else. Am I the only one that thought that Sheryl was gonna slaughter everyone on the bridge when she came up and was just standing there, expressionless, while some horror movie music played? I thought for a second that Grace had activated some sleeper programming or something... i was relieved to see that wasn't the case though lol

They look like renders from a PSX game Yea I read somewhere that they decided to use less lines for the Gundams so they could focus on animating them. Not sure I like the result...but I guess I'll reserve judgment till we seem them in action

The neck isn't long cuz it's designed for two seaters, its long cuz the nose slides up to make it shorter in battroid mode. So it's either the long nosecone of the 1/48's or the long neck of the 1/60's...

This scene alone makes the episode a must see. Sherrryyyylllllllll!! Nosebleeds aside, I wonder if Brera being Ranka's bodyguard will cause awkwardness with Alto. Maybe Mr. Bilrer wanted to see Alto to give him tips on handling a love triangle (since MR Bilrer is actually ). Was any love triangle in any other Macross series this out in the open? I agree with the poster that said that Sheryl and Ranka seemed to get more into the singing/duet than trying to win over Alto, or at least it seemed to be more of a joint effort... ..threesome ftw!

I recently watched SDF Macross in it's entirety for the first time (Used to watch robotech sporadically as a kid). And I must say the part that nearly brought a tear to my eye is the last episode where the Macross is lifting off for the first time since the war and then the theme song starts to play. OMG it was just so EPIC!!
