I can but is there something specific you want to see? Battroid, fighter, the crotch or canopy?

Yea I definitely agree that DYRL does a better job of conveying the hopelessness of the situation. Lol yea Minmay had it pretty rough in the movie. She was way more sympathetic, which is why the end credits scene with her farewell concert in front of the Macross is so effective in ending the movie on a high note.

So have anyone's impressions of the movie changed after multiple viewings? For better or for worse. Speaking of missing music, there's a really awesome song that plays when Alto and Brera are fighting on Gallia IV that I'm pretty sure is not in any of the OSTs. I might have to rip it myself. I guess this is a bit OT since it's about the series.

Just finished rewatching SDF: M the TV series and DYRL. It was even more awesome than I remembered. I got goosebumps at the end when the Macross took its last flight and the theme song plays. Best moment of the series. I can't help but wonder what the hell Hikaru and Misa were doing those two years after they had been so cozy in the cockpit of his Valkyrie, it's like they made no progress at all. In fact, they backtracked. Ah well I guess real life got in the way. DYRL was pretty good but I prefer the TV series. The relationship between Hikaru and Misa felt much more contrived than in the series, whereas the Hikaru and Minmay seemed more believable. Also Hikaru sees Minmay for the first time in months after he thought she was dead and he can't even muster a hug? Geez, even if he wasn't in love with her anymore you would think he would have a bit more of a reaction. It's not like Misa wouldn't have understood. Actually DYRL on the whole was kind of depressing. Especially the scene where they discover the earth and at the end when you can hear all the Zentradi wailing in the background. The end credits scene made up for it though. Damn that Tenshi no Engou song is amazing! I will say that watching the TV series first helped me appreciate the animation in DYRL that much more. Seeing how awesome Max was in the TV series also convinced me I need a v2 1/60 Max TV VF-1A. And Yamato really, really needs to reissue the Ostrich. Anyway now I'm off to watch Flashback 2012 for the first time. P.S: Kaifun sucks, hard.

Throw a frog in hot water and he will jump out. Put the frog in cold water then keep turning up the temperature slowly and he will be boiled before he realizes. Replace boiling water with high prices and the frog with Macross toy collectors. -

The love triange is a joke. As if Mylene ever had a chance with Basara. Basara seems to be the only one that realizes Mylene is 14! -

Not to mention if it wasn't for him all of Sound Force would most likely be dead. Along with the rest of the galaxy I suppose. -
Awesome pics guys. My favourite is dedicated to the unsung heroes of Space War I. Gotta love that chocolate.

I'm looking forward to the VF-25G as well. I think that's the one I would display with Super Packs. What makes you say he was a prick?

One thing I've wondered is about the model numbers for the VFs developed in colonies. Suppose two different colonies are working on completely different fighters and name them both VF-25? Or do they have to submit to NUNS headquarters to get clearance for specific model numbers? Is it a first come first served thing?

It does indeed.

I waited too long on the Ex-Gear. Got the 1/144 YF-21 and a couple 1/144 gundam kits instead.

I'm pretty sure most of the statutory rape posts were being facetious. I know mine was, lol

I came. The pilot looks awesome. I've been wanting to see how these look with a flat coat. Looking forward to your pics -
I hope it comes with SMS and NUNS stickers!

Actually Alto turns 18 during the series, while the other two are still minors

Very nice, I've been waiting for his reviews of these

I too would prefer a low-viz version -

I like how it has the turret retracted in battroid mode. If only the toy could do that
