    Well, I just hope they tampo more stuff on than the YF-19 - that was just too minimalist for the price of that toy. I guess I get spoiled by all the tampo Bandai puts on their stuff!

    SAME HERE! I certainly hope so, but then again, my CF is always staying in its fighter mode as well, just transformed it once I first got it to see and now its back in its default mode (I can see stress/cracks, but still everything is intact. Funny, there were absolutely no stress/cracks after I transformed it the first time (even though I was specifically looking for them, they developed on their own after sitting in my glass display case motion-less). Luca will stay in its fighter mode as well, I do love that blade hanging down like Yukikaze.

    Ooh, that looks good. Hope it doesn't have the droopy neck that plagued the first generation VF-0s. At least I can have another Valk that looks decent sitting on its landing gears (unlike all the new Frontier planes that looks like the landing gears are just an after-thought).

    I find that using a very sharp mechanical pencil (H2 or H4 hardness) with a ruler works really well in the really shallow panel lines, you can use your fingers to smudge some out if it got too dark. You'd need to clear-coat it to make it more permanent though.

    From the pictures, it kind of looks like a sticker, the graphics span right across a panel line and you can't see the panel line underneath it which seems like a sticker instead of a tampo print. Could be just a prototype though. I prefer just the sharks mouth too.

    The detail looks good, just wished the fan blades were sunk into the intakes a bit more, no reason why they had to have it right at the face with that big block of plastic below the fan blades. Arcadia doesn't seem to have much luck with intakes lately - the top lip of the YF-19 intakes is my biggest gripe.

    My thoughts exactly, I'd wish it was "sleeker" (maybe longer) in fighter mode, that's my perferred mode in displaying them anyways. However from the new YF-19, it seems as though Arcadia does favour the Battroid proportions over the fighter proportions -too bad ;( I'd still get one anyways - unless its ridiculously priced. I just hope its a greyer less saturated blue than a bright blue when they talk about colours.

    Yes, the 1/72 scale resins are by Platz and they are great. It's the Bandai 1/100 EX kits that have horribly fat/huge landing gear struts like robot arms and barrels for tires that I'm referring too. To their credit, they did actually issue a "renewal" revision 1.5 of their kits that slimmed down the landing gears a little - but still horribly out of scale along with panel lines that just seem to end in the middle of a section.

    EXACTLY!!! I felt the same thing, especially coming in at $384cdn (plus customs & duties!) shipped, it left a sour taste in my mouth. If they command those prices, it needs to justify them. I wanted to love it so much, but I had to be honest with myself. I'm glad I have ONE, but that's all I need thank you very much! p.s. I hope they solved the floppy neck syndrome my VF-0A has, its great if its sitting on its landing gears, but if its flying, and the forward fuselage is not supported, it has a crooked neck hanging down leaving a large gap behind the cockpit.

    Nor do they have any sense of landing gears too! Great at robot proportions and details, but anything aircraft related? Its just hopeless, just like their Yukikaze kits.

    Hey, at least they tried some bit of effort with Transformers (although I hated all of them!) - BUT what gets me is that EOT was beaten by Fault of the Stars and PR was beaten by GrownUps 2 - which makes it that much more disappointing. It's like the population preferring a Taco Bell special over a Michelin 3 star dinner!

    Edge of Tomorrow only made $29M on the opening weekend... WTF?!!! - 3rd place... and some $12M Fault in Our Stars made $48M. I just don't get it... I guess these are the same people that voted Harper & Rob Ford in with an overwhelming majority. ...I'm living on the wrong continent. So much effort goes into great movies and people just want crap! This is opening back up bad wounds for me from Pacific Rim when Grown Ups 2 beat it in the opening weekend. Both films (Pacific Rim & Edge of Tomorrow) did very well internationally - so its only North Americans that are idiots? Everybody go see Edge of Tomorrow, its an excellent movie! Prove to Hollywood that dreck isn't enough.
