I'm not sure, haven't had the time lately, I've only been able to panel line the Macross Delta toys. I'll definitely panel line them but not sure if I have time to properly weather them (which means sealing it in with a clear coat). Maybe sometime in the future, if I had time, I'd rather try to take that stupid gold flake off the canopy and tint them clear. It's always harder to weather dark valkyries and see it without over doing it.

I love that last shot Saburo!!! That's what I want to set mine up whenever I actually get my Lil Drakens... I wasn't really a fan of the Gerwalk mode before, but somehow I really like it on the SV-262 and your last picture just confirmed it for me. I ordered from NY (Eco-SAL) and the last tracking entry is "Dispatch from Outward Office..." in Osaka on Aug 31st - its been 3 weeks and no further entries. Should I be worried or did it just take the slow boat (I guess I've been pretty lucky with Eco-SAL in the past, its never taken this long)? Canadian Postal system always drops the ball on our end though - but I get a higher chance of slipping through Customs via the Postal system.

Are these the ones that Noel was saying the fastpack/strikepack white letterings were all the same and didn't have the various markings for the armament vs. the cannon and missile fronts? If these are different from what Noel were using then I'd give them a try. Thanks Recon!

Hi everyone, I know its a long shot, but had anyone only used the sticker sheet and didn't use the waterslide decals that came with some of the 1/60 Arcadia VF-1 toys? I'd be happy to buy those waterslide decals, even if its incomplete, I'd just really need the white fast/super/strike pack stenciling and any white stenciling for Roy's VF-1S (ie: 001 on the tail fins). Just thought I'd ask, you never know

Well it wouldn't process my payment and eventually it timed out on me and emptied my cart. Now it indicates its "Temporarily Sold Out" and no longer gives to option to even backorder it. Congrats to those who managed to snag one - unfortunately I wasn't so lucky. I guess Lego is taking a page from Bandai sales tactics now. How hard is it to give money to purchase super expensive toys these days?!

Ah, perhaps I spoke too soon. It got changed and its on the Canadian store but I couldn't complete the checkout process as it hangs and keeps giving me a server error message. I guess there are that many Canadians out there willing to drop over $1K on a lego set! ...and I thought I was crazy!

Hey anyone in Canada managed to purchase the UCS Millennium Falcon via VIP Membership? I never got any e-mails and when I log in today with my VIP number, it just says available Oct 1st. Argh!!! Not available early in Canada again?!?!

OK, you guys are right... (man tough crowd) the parts I liked best are the beginning and end which is the original theme - I guess there wasn't anything humm-able in the middle to define it as its own theme.

Anyone gotten their Lil Drakens from NY yet? They shipped mine EMS out Sep 30th and it took the next day to reach Osaka (Dispatch from Outward Office of Exchange) and then there's been no other entry since then. I'd think it would have a Canadian Post Office entry by now 9 days later? Its not NY's fault but I hope it hasn't gotten lost in the mail.

I think you're supposed to get an e-mail about it. I am on the VIP program as well and was told that there would be an early VIP pre-order window for the UCS Snow Speeder earlier this year, but that didn't happen in all areas. I'm in Canada and either the country was left out or I was left out :P, but I waited for the earlier pre-order and it didn't happen for us, it did for US, Australia, UK and a few other countries, but not here. So I hope we are included this year for the Sep 14th date - otherwise it would be Bandai madness on Oct 1st! BTW for Canadians, for once the exchange rates seem to work in our favour (at least compared to the USD).

Great thread Noel! I missed it before (being away for a large part of the summer) but I too am looking for those white fast/super pack stenciling for the 1/60 toys. Its great that you told us that unfortunately what I was looking for is incorrect on those decal sheets. If you do find any alternatives do let us know. I did laser print all the other markings onto decal film scaled up from Hasegawa decal scans and they worked great (as long as you are applying them onto a light coloured background) As for the super thin panel lines, they are too shallow to hold a wash, however I've used a really sharp mechanical pencil (the 2mm kind with the rotary shapener) and it just falls into the crevices/panel lines nicely (if you make a mistake, you can use an eraser). Then once its sealed under the top coat its fine, plus its a nice grey so its not too dark.

YES!!! I have been kicking myself for passing up the $500 set as being too expensive, now $900cdn doesn't seem so much - argh!!! It does look amazing, hope I get an order in to get it by Christmas - I think it might be a hard one to get at the beginning at least till the New Year with the Last Jedi coming out in December.

Yep, I missed out on the Hasegawa VF-1D Gerwalk with the little Minmay figure thinking it was Hasegawa and they're not like Bandai DXs - boy was I wrong!
