I already have the 2nd version of the YF-29 so I'm not gonna sweat it. It's still in fighter mode all these years lol. I do however have a question about Nin-Nin Games. Are they reliable for pre-orders like HLJ, Hobby search, CD japan and AmiAmi?

I found this in the attic today. I got it when I was in High School and I tried to mod it to make it look like the valkyries I saw in "Clash of the Bionoids". That was my introduction to Macross and Ive loved it since.

Never. I leave them in fighter mode. I did, however, transform my old V1 valks from Yamato. Oh, and I did transform my 25th anniversary Vf-1j a few times but that's because I got a couple of them for dirt cheap. The rest are just too expensive to take a chance on.

I was just checking up on my preorder on the VF-1J at HLJ and I noticed something on the summary page. It says that the Currency Used is YEN. I'm not using PayPal but instead my credit card. Is it cheaper, or a good idea, to leave it as YEN or USD?

I have an issue. The left exhaust nozzles are twisted/mis-aligned and the cover fot the twin gun underneath is bent. I heard this is a manufacturing defect. Anyone else have these issues and any solutions? I already contacted cdjapan and am waiting for their reply.

Even for that price...I just can't. it's just too ugly. Maybe for $100.

My favorite would be: 1) Yamato 1/60 VF-11. The updated version. Love the design. 2) Bandai VF-19 advance DX. Love the look with the boosters and pre applied decals. 3) Bandai YF-30 DX. Love the design. Least favorite: 1) Bandai DX SV-262 draken. The ugliest mess of a valkyrie I have ever seen. Basically an overweight and deformed Valkyrie with little wings. 2) Yamato 1\60 SV-51. Much better looking than the Draken but still a mess with an obtuse design and wings that don't stay up. 3) ???????

I do. I find it very relaxing and nerve racking at the same time. As of late, I've been getting chogokins so no need to apply anything.

The longer you keep the item in their private warehouse the dirtier it will get. Also, HLJ will just throw your item in the shipping box with maybe one or two plastic bubbles.( thus the cheap shipping cost? I guess?) It will shake, rattle and roll on its way to you. Basically, don't expect a pristine, minty , shiny item box when it arrives. That's a shame considering AmiAmi, CD japan, NY and Hobby Search all use bubble wrap.

This is great news! The originals are just so damn expensive that I cant get myself to enjoy them fully. I'm afraid to break em. But now I can get a KO and finally manhandle it to death. Thank you KOs.

Thanks for the video. However, after watching it I cancelled my order. This thing is just too ugly in my opinion. I could tolerate the SV-51 but not this. Maybe the other variants will look more refined.

Why do the bad guys vehicles always have to be strange looking? In macross we had zentradi pods. In macross plus we had the ghost. In macross 7 we had...something but I'm sure it was abnormal looking. In frontier it was the bajra. In zero it was the Sv-51. And now in delta, we have the sv-262. Don't the bad guys believe in refined beauty?

Still trying to get a VF-31J at a launch price and not the NY 25000 yen price tag. I already got 2 VF-31F secured though.

I love em only for their fighter designs. I don't care for their battroid/robot mode. It would be nice if they made fully detailed, painted and pre-assembled non transforming 1/60 valks. Line art accurate of course.

Painful, indeed. I actually face palmed when I saw the scene with the girls dancing and singing on Valkyries. I couldn't pass the first episode. But, I suggest you forget the show and just love the Valkyries for their designs.

I am 37. There was a time when I use to come here and see everyone talking about the latest valks and their collections. I use to tell my self...one day. Now, thanks to the almighty, I have a nice job with plenty of disposable income and too much stuff actually. I collect Macross because I'm an Aerospace nut and love the fighter designs.

If I don't see any come up for a decent price by the end of the year than I'll have go to NY. The other variants will come many months later and I can't wait anymore.
