The computer and electronics super geek thread
Roy Focker replied to azrael's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Okay. I upgraded to IE 9. Everything layed out differently. I kinda like the old layout. My favorites was on the left of the screen now it is on the right. Can I move it back? -

With the earth quake and all I doubt the release date will be 2011. Guessing for next year. Wish I had the money for all this junk.

Kevin's history also started here as some what civilized troll. We actually had to ban him at least once. He was a very vocal defender of Harmony Gold. Came across a complete suck up. When I had to contact him as a Moderator I could reason with him. When I heard he got hired by HG I thought is was a bad idea. Nothing wrong with hiring fans but pick from the moderates. Taking a zealot is a risk.

Are you sure? I watched last night and the contestants all allowed Trebek to finishing reading the answers. These were answers that even I was able to get right before he finished reading them.

Read Tom's script. I see many similarities to the Shadow Chronicles but this script flows better. I think there was too many characters in it and not enough action. Like RTSC it tries to keep the enemy a secret from the heroes. The Robotech Defenders (and the audience) needs to meet know who the villains are early on. It like the SC seems to rely heavily on the End of the Circle setting. That novel was pretty crappy and is really old. We already know that story. Robotech the Shadow Chronicles could have started the search for Admiral Hunter from a totally new fresh take. Vince, Louie, Scott and Jean Grant uggh what a boring combination. Plus with the RTSC & the Sentinels make the Robotech franchise like a bastard wannabe Star Trek. Robotech is about different generation on Earth protecting it from one alien invasion from the next. Put them on a space mission and it isn't Robotech. You know Robotech is missing a great opportunity with Rick Hunter. In the Macross Saga he is very much like his Macross counterpart. Young idiot who becomes a hero. Scott Bernard makes him sound like a legendary leader in the third series. People need to see him become that leader. Instead there's his whiny, little bitch worrywart appearance in the Sentinels and his white haired useless old man in the RTSC. They need an exciting tale about Hunter's balls. We get to learn about Rick's kid balls and then his old man balls. People need to experience his balls when they were in their prime.

Just saw it. Reminded me of the first one. Special effects, dull story about a world I don't care about.
