Help me I couldn't wait for the next release to be shipped so I ordered an old blue VF-19 Hi-metal. It wasn't at those current insane eBay prices.

Imo Arcadia/Yamato has made the better VF-1. That is all they've done. Mastered the art of making Variable Fighter toys. They can't do anything beyond that. When they gave us a Regult it was a model kit that costed what $350 or something near that? Under their new company they just been doing mostly improve new re-releases at a higher price. They still have a better VF-1 but there overall line is lacking. The Hi-metals aren't perfect but they're making regular releases, providing a variety of choices.

I know I'm a little late but finally have my Defender unboxed and in my hands. And I think it is my least favorite. It is so small. The Spartan for example is at a larger scale than the VF-1. The Toy designers could have made the Spartan the correct scale. Instead of going for accuracy they used a scale that just looked good next to a VF-1. The Defender scale is more accurate? It just don't look that impressive being small. It also feels like the top half might a scale smaller than the legs. This toy will take some time to grow on me.

I understand getting the cheaper airmail means it might take extra time to fly my Defender from Japan to the USA. But why did the post office keep my Defender in one location for 2 business days after it cleared customs? It wasn't being held during the weekend or a holiday. They picked it up from customs and sat just on it.

10 days and finally an update. In those 10 days it went from clearing Japan customs to clearing US customs. No news between that time. Kind of annoying that some times they provide an update from every step of the way and other times you get like only 2.

My defender still hasn't left Japan yet. Ami Ami was slow getting them out and it is either currently stuck in a Japanese airport or Japan Post forgot to do some updates. Last update was the 19th.

That soon. I swear the announcement dates and preorder dates are getting shorter and shorter.

I love how everyone jokes about being broke after buying these toys. If this true just buy one of each. Nobody has to buy multiples.

Guess I don't have to stay up late tonight. Ordered a set from NY $171+change. Ouch! At least my 1 Glaug & 1 Regult will now have some friends.

Nothing on the front page. The site hasn't really been using it for anything in months. I suspect it will eventually be replaced. I've only been updating with a cosplay post every 2 months. The next one would have been due in August but I've got no cosplay announcements for August. The next update after that would have been in October. I'm going to wait to see what will eventually happen to the front page. I'll post regular updates here as needed. First learn about this movie last week in a trailer before Spider-Man started. Had no idea of the properties long history. My thought during the trailer was is this some teen actor movie for teens based on a young adult novel? The 2 leads look so young.
