I'm not sure. Never been a big fan of Max's VF-1A. If I can find it at on Amazon for the MSRP and enjoy cheap fast shipping maybe I'll get it. Really want to limit my collection on these things to just a single VF of every type. When it comes to VF-1A I prefer to have a brown massive production type over Max.

Now only waiting for the VF-1D to be released. They better announce the next preorder soon.

Paid Ami Ami and cashed in my points to reduce cost by almost 400 yen. Using SAL so it will get here in 3 to 4 weeks. If it was Amazon it would be 3 to 4 days.

Mean while no news from Ami Ami.

Yeah Barry was good. -
I love ordering from Amazon JP. My book was shipped yesterday and is here today.

Stupid bank. I preordered this from Amazon. Couple days ago during the early am hours my card was charged. The bank saw a foreign location and sent me a text. I approved it when I saw it in the morning. Guess that wasn't fast enough. Amazon Japan didn't send me a notice that repayment was needed. I just decided to login to Amazon a couple days later. Saw I had to resubmit payment. Same thing almost happened with my VF-1J.

Okay I'll bite. Ordered one from BBTS cause $4 shipping is better than $8. The pics aren't that impressive but this might be the only modern action figure for this character. Is his dress going to be semi-soft plastic with slits to allow for some leg movement?

Pretty sure the movie deal killed the franchise's progression. When someone buys the rights to the movie it can put a freeze on most things.

Yeah the Regult Scout would be an easy one for them to make. They would just have to modify an existing design instead building 100% from scratch. Same goes for the Tomahawk.

I love the bikes. As for the jet. I prefers valkyries but the legioss is still a cool design. I know it's going to be premium price and that giant size head may keep me away from getting one.

Does it fit in an IKEA Detolf?

It was our 40 yr old parents back in the day who said no to you for buying toys over $10. Now your $1000 is just making the wrongs of past right.

New Macross TV Series in 20xx (sometime this decade)
Roy Focker replied to Tochiro's topic in Movies and TV Series
Kawamori is basically like Lucas. Somebody really good at coming up with great ideas but requires other masters of their craft to make them possible. -
I think parts of your theory are correct according to my research. Toy companies don't own the factories that make their product. They pay factories extra for QC. Toys that fail to pass QC disappear. 2 defective toys marked for the trash can be taken apart to make a good one. Skilled factory workers have the knowledge and access to machinery to use discarded molds or make new ones. Copies of official product are almost the same quality because they're all made by the same people. Factories themselves are either part of it taking a cut or turn a blind eye on their workers activity as it is just part of the business.

2022? 40 years of Macross? You know Kawamori might retire by then. -

Money's in all things band related. Anime is there to promote the band. When band becomes unpopular they'll create a new series and a new band for it.
