I could and also I know of a few 50 year dames that are better looking. Of course they they had their hair and make up done by the same people they would look like (old) whores too.
-
They are beautiful? Then there must be some real dogs where you live. As said nothing is (seriously) wrong with them. Most of them posted so far are average looking. Good photographer, make up and hair artist and the right clothes could make them look good for this pictures. Instead they end up looking like Glamor shots mall whores. It is just the wrong look for them.

What does that Roy suck or something? The real MW deal is NW bound.

This is OT and besides it could have been included in the semi-allowed OT topic about automobiles.

I'll try seeing it sometimes this week and on a related note. Pirates was fun ride at Disney land. Then they decided to PC there ride. Pirates chasing booty. The kind that shakes was wrong. Even though it would close to historically accurate Pirates ditched chasing booty for food. Telling people to over eat was okay but not chasing booty. When they changed the ride again. Instead of chasing booty or food. The cyborg pirates are chasing Johny Depp. Yep the ride has been altered to fit in elements from the movies. So in review. Chasing Booty - Bad. Chasing Food - Bad. Chasing Depp - Good.

Is There An Online Macross Line Art Archive?
Roy Focker replied to danth's topic in Movies and TV Series
Yeah but I think that is like 80 or a 100 years. Well there is a difference. Several actually. These images are easy to get from still very easy to aquire books. It not like as said they are ultra rare, expensive and unavaliable. If there was only one Macross art book ever made and it was 20 years ago and only 100 copies printed I don't think fandom would mind a few fans with copys posting 80% of the contents up in high res pics. The general feelings among fandom is the it is okay "bend" the rules if something is not avalible, not going to released ever in english. Of course those that download Macross Zero boots are getting what they paid for. They are far from professional quality? I think most would by an offical english set just to get the better quanity. Now in the case of line art. Wouldn't high res pics be of professional quality? Also it is not like these books are hard to get. They are avaliable at decent prices. Like I said it is not like these books are hard to find and for the most part don't cost that much. -

Dam You Macross 7 Dam You #$%#$^#$&^$%&
Roy Focker replied to deadghost's topic in Movies and TV Series
Question was Macross 7 intend for us adult western fans or teenage Japanese ones? Ten years ago were "we" adults? Has Macross 7 even been offical release for the West? No. I doubt we are the intend audience. Did 14 year old Japanese boys and girls like watching Macross 7? I assume they did. Don't blame Basara for singing. If you want someone blame Max. Yes it is Max's flaut. Who allowed Basara to use the Valkyrie for the sole purpose of going out and singing. All signs point to Max. Ray just wasn't a good enough in the terms of being a controlling mentor. Basara might go around flapping his lip but Max and company are letting him. -
The repeats played on Adult Swim tend to be good. Since they were often good show that just get the attention they deserved from the networks. What I just think for the most part as being crap is those originals. You might find one decent joke in every third episode but most like Nied said you need to be drunk. Honestly I could produce a show about mice tied on to paper airplanes flying to the sound of urinating in the background and I think they might pick it up.

I wonder if the clothes and head would fit other figures.

Is There An Online Macross Line Art Archive?

Yeah you past even fan ethics if you are posting a ton of high-quality pics. I don't think will mind a pic or two. If you're talking about say a 1/2 of the contents of one book and all high quality pics. I don't it will matter if post a where to buy link or not. Since nearly thing is avaliable in high quality why would someone buy a book? You have to consider actual rules of fair use and fan accepted fan use. If the makers of the art work came to you think if you can defend infront of them your use of their art. -
Okay I like watching late nite TV talk shows. They are generally funny but you really have to watch them at nite when your half a sleep. The stuff on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim I think you have to be high to enjoy. Is it just me but is 90% crap just crap? The shows that they bought re-runs of for the most part are okay but they original programming is pretty crappy. The animation is bad. The jokes are hmmm where are the jokes?

If the pickle is removed there is still the chance of the pickle juice stain on the cheese. -
That dub was the best. Yeah it sounded like an old dub Kung Fu film but it worked. The voice for Roy in it was just perfect in giving out the right emotion for the character. You'd believe that Roy wanted Hikaru to become a man and that he was into booze and booty. Robotech's Roy gave the impression that he wanted Rick to become a responible citizens and was into was G rated fun.

Is There An Online Macross Line Art Archive?
Roy Focker replied to danth's topic in Movies and TV Series
I never had a problem with a requests for a picture/scan before but talking about an entire archive. I'd imagine people would like to to be super high quality pictures from every book printed. The refusal to "buy a book" agrument fails to hold water when the books a relatively easy to get and aren't overly expensive. The books tend to have a great amount of line art. As said it is not like the only book with line art is the Gold Book, that is not of print for 20 years, goes for over $150+ and is hard to find. More Recent leased art books go for 1/5 that price. If people here can afford countless 1/48 Yamatos but are too cheap and lazy to spend 30-40 on one art book? -

What happen to just buying a book yourself. In recent years there has been a couple of affordable, easy to aquire art books with a pretty decent collection of line art. -
Fine I decided to start a poll. Maybe we'll one like this every six months or so. Here is your chance to say if liked or hate Macross 7. You'll notice no posting is allowed. This poll isn't about expressing why we love or hate it just if we do. The answers should make everyone happy. A simple "yes" or "no" could have worked but for those on the fence I wanted to leave some options.

People's hate for Macross 7 is like my hate for pickles on a Hamburger. If I find pickles on my hamburger I make an icky face and peel of the pickles while bitching, "Must they put these on everything? It makes everything taste like a pickle." Then I stare down at the pickle juice stain on the cheese and swear, "Damn it the pickle is still on the cheese." I then attempt to eat the rest of the burger and stop after two more bites. "I can't stand it! That pickle has ruined my hamburger eating experience!" Then I push it to the side and bitch about rest of the night. The rest of the burger might have been really good or just decent but I'm so wrapped up about that darn pickle! Maybe those who hate Macross 7 are just obessed about the size of Basara pickle -

Agent One is that you in disguise after suffering a some brain damage? I too heard that Macross 7 was in part a parody of a mecha series. I think Kawamori said that somewhere. Macross 7 is good and entertaining problem is with some people is their expectations. -
I think some of our toy collectors are threaten by their own sexuality. "Man-Dolls are too much like a Barbie. Only fruit cakes and girls play with a Barbie. Strange I think Man-Doll looks neat. Wait am I really a girl in a man's body or a fruit cake? No it can't be. Must make a crack about the Man-Doll and buy the biggest transforming robot with the biggest rifle." -Closet MW Man Doll Fan. Man-Dolls aren't Ken Dolls. They are 1/6 Collector Action Figures. Most are military or Movie based and are more closer to the GIJOE than Barbie. Some of us have embraced the Man-Doll Hikaru. If the thought still scares someone you please than come out of you 1/1 the Man-Doll Closet you're not fooling anybody.

I'd imagine the flight suit versions would cost a lot more than the standard.

I agree. I was flipping channels and stopped a few minutes before that. "Hey it has been a while since I watched the WWF" I flipped again right after that.
