Why why do some people want OT? Why are here? To discuss Macross or everything under the sun? Sure if you like Macross your likely want to discuss other animated show, different robot toys and other sci-fi programs. Yet some want to use the place for a variety of topics for general discussion. The place is Macross Themed. OT is OT. Sure some OT is allowed to stay and other gets closed. When that happens the person of the closed topic sees another wasn't closed and makes a fuss. If people are really bothered by it. Why don't we then allow no OT at all. We won't try to justify or be kind today. If it is OT well just zap it. Btw are we including whole peanuts or peanut weight?

The Results of that M7 Poll Yes: Macross 7 is so great that it moves me. [ 3 ] [7.14%] Yes: I Liked Macross 7. [ 23 ] [54.76%] Neutral: Some of it was okay and some of it wasn't. Of a sampling of 42 the majority actually liked it.

Took me a while to get back to check the results Did the results surprize anyone? The largest age group was 30, 31 & 32. Most appear to be 23 to 32 (age group that had 10% or more of the votes). Only two people were 40 or older. I guess makes sense since 24 years ago when Macross came out a 40 year old would have been about 16. The 20 or under crowd was only 3.88%. Now that is low. Is Macross to much of a classic to appear to today's youth? Would results of same poll be the same on Robotech.com I fell with in the largest group. We had a poll like this during the forums early days and I was among the largest group back then. Were getting older. Aren't we.

I think I'm covered with Statefarm. Renters insurance. The insurance covers ever thing in the walls (besides toys). I haven't document every item or told too do so.

You know what after look my overall toy collection over I think I might have to increase insurance. Specically if I start getting more Valkyries. When I got renters insurace a few years back my collections were't this big. I think I may have to increase coverage by 30%.

Yeah that valkyrie was suppose to designed to be with a sailor's uniform. I'm starting to think that the Yamato VF-1 is about equal to the Clone Troopers paint combos.

The VF drawn is all wrong and what is with the overly done make up around Milia's eyes? How much make up does she have on for it to be seen through the tinted glass? They took a nice looking babe and whored her up with to much slurmty looking make up.

Doing some reading on that 80's classic the Highlander. When I discovered that Clancy Brown aka the Kurgan was only 6'3 and a half. My height. I could have swore by the way hes portrayed he had to be 6'7 to 7' tall. All the other parts you see him in they shoot in way to suggest he's much taller then 6'3. That height is tall but not freakishly tall. Yet they film to look freakishly huge. Then there is Hugh Jackman who I believe is also 6'3 they filmed him in X-men to look shorter but in other movies I seen him in such a kate and Leopol or Sword Fish (sorry on TV so no Halley's Berry's berries ) he's portrayed as average. They film him to suggest he's not the tall side. Damn you hollywood and your magic.

Believe it or not Pirates aren't my favorite historic people but I studied a lot about them in college and for private research. Occasional I stumbe across some pictures of reinactors. Just recently the local news paper featured an article on one. Can you guess her weight? Yep a lardo. Sorry but I can't imagine a fat pirate climbing the ringing. Is there a reason why every fat chick or ugly pocked marked face guy are always the ones dressing up? Typically in the cheapest and least accurate costumes. This for any theme that people that dress up as. Only good looking pirates, knights, Starfleet captains and sailor scouts you see will be on the screen. If you see one face to face that looks good they are typically a hired actor of promotion use. Have they no shame? Btw this is actually a guy who dresses up like Depp's Jack for hire and does a really good job at it. I think he appeared in a country video.

What you are failing to understand is I haven't called them ugly (other than in jest). What I have been saying if some of you can get through your heads, is that these are average lookings chicks. Who could be even more attractive looking with the right window treatments. Instead they have done up like whores. Their hair and make up matches the old Glamor shot commerical and 1-900 phone Sex commericals. This isn't saying they are ugly whores. Actually with these pictures they look like high class ones. What do you guys just go for the high class whore look? Honestly if one your girlfriends went to your highschool reunion or company xmas party you don't thinks other in attendence would think your new girl friend is some kind of a slurm? "But the slurmty look is hot!" Maybe but it doesn't change the fact that it is a slurmty/High Price Whore look. Take a look at all of Area Seven's avatars. If I'm not mistaken nearly all of them have porn stars or centerfolds. Notice that these ADV chicks have similar hair and make up jobs? What is so hard too get about this? Average Girls Made up in slurmty way thus end up looking like slurms. I bet they have head shots that were made before these pictures that gives them an entirely different less whorish look.

I can imagine why could be a hard sell. The main stream people would not in anime and would send them the the anime people. The anime people might tell them that are interested in proven hits from Japan or stuff that is like what is already out and hot. HG is doing what? They made a western anime sequel off of a something that was hot 20 years ago and stills maintains a fair fan following. A distibutor just might not think the return would be high enough.
