He's actually behind the blackman and blonde haired guy. In that picture his just a shadow but I think there's a version of the grab with more light.

Actually the Global looking fellow is one of the brain washed Macross crew glued to a monitor. It is more of a easter egg/gag then a real appearance to me.

Yeah M+ used CGtoo the difference is in most cases only CG was on the screen. I think when they have cell and CG going on at the same time things look odd.

I wonder if they going to use the Master's of the Universe script from 86 and just replace He-man with Prime and Skeletor with Megatron. I have a feeling they might pay to much attention on the fleshings.

My family reactions were nearly the same. They thought it was too loud and I was bumb that Prowl Died. About a year prior My grand dad bought me Prowl. He walked me into a toy section day said, "This you good" and picked it out for me. The toy quickly grew on me. gramps died and then later I go to see Transformers the movie and Prowl dies without putting up much of a fight in the first minute or two of the film. Sorta sucks when oe of your autobot favorites goes out like that. It was bold of them to finally show chaotic violent robotic destruction but it sorta made you feel your collection was worth less since all transforms were dead.

The VF-11B! YF-19 and YF-21 I'm have a lot of fans because Macross so cool and so were Isamu and Guld both of those fighters reek of coolness. The VF-11B is a cool modern take on a mor retro fighter. In Battroid it looks very much like a VF-1A. It was the Macross Plus Valkyrie that I most interested the fight time around but the result weren't as good as the others. It deserves the revamp most of all.

Wasn't there something in the dialog (during Hayao last flight) when Hikaru is saying how the women are more dangerous but Max and Hayao pretty much laugh it off. In DYRL only Hikaru saw that the women were capable of. When Max does fight her he seems to be a bit surprized. His reactions is that someone who meet her before. For the peace treaty to happen Max would of have to shink back down to size and get a customize VF-1S made. That would have taken some time. He was already a giant and would have assisted in negotations.

I rather see a sequel to big trouble in Little China.

Of course those scene don't fit in to the actual movie without some continunity issue. There are two versions of "DYRL?" the one we saw and the ones the characters saw in Macross 7.

I just remember having to beg to see it. No problem watching it on TV but got a lot of parential type flak for wanting to see it. I remember it being one the more louder movies and the older types accompying me bitching about how bad it was.

Depends how much you like DYRL? If it your favorite anime movie of all time get the Gold Book. Think of it like Perfect Memory but focusing on DYRL? In a nicely bound package and tons of glossy big pics.

I agree 100% with you there. These are pricy items. I could buy the VF-1S Roy, VF-1A Hikaru, Max and Hayao but wouldn't I just have four 90% white painted VFs? Plus three would have the exact same head.
