I was going down memory lane. In other words reading some of the google archive posts from alt.fan Macross. I can't believe it has been 6 years since I started posting there. Some post go back even longer. When Macross World forums started I think half of us were from there. So, class reuion time who here besides me use to be from Alt. Fan Macross?

Depends what we are measuring "best" by. If by the number kills it would have to be Roy. Best pilot in General in my opinion would be Max. Basara would be up there too. I can put in order best in the series. MTV: Max > Milia > Roy > Kamjin = Hikaru. M7 Max > Milia > Basara > Gamlin. M+ Isamu > Guld. But if we go by Kawamori he is a little vague but it. He did mention that during the end of Guld's fight with the Ghost, Guld for that moment of time was the best.

I just had a thought. I have a PS3 now and my old PS2. Why don't I convert my PS2 to play that PS2 Macross Game. What is the best idiot proof way of doing this? I am suppose to buy swap disks and a flip top cover? Does that actually work?

The VF-11B is great Variable Fighter. The VF-11C on the other hand armor is made out of paper. I think the real problem was the pilots. In one episode Gamlin has to pilot a VF-11C. He not only lived but managed to shoot down a few guys.

For the DYRL? version of the Armd carrier you list it as having: Space fighters: 78 x SF-3A Lancer II Space planes: 270 x QF-3000E Ghost Variable Mecha: unknown number of VF-1 Valkyrie. I believe that is the same as the TV version. The Gold Book list it as having 262 VF-1 and 66 QF-3000E Ghost. Plus it's lenght was extended by 20 meters.

That's because you're on a coast. The thing is that middle america are getting these first. If you're on the coast you're last in line. If your state isn't all White and loves Country music you're not Hasbro's vision of America.

It is a great cartoon for kids. Not sure how well the animation holds up today. I haven't watch it in decades but the story was pretty good. I still remember part of the song. Edit: Try youtube. I just did and there are a few episodes on there.
