Still the VF-1 looks too dinky at that size when next to other VFs. Yes the would be accurate to their actual size but it still looks dinky.

Ah but the earlier 1/60 was a simple design. The 1/48 was more complex but was a bigger toy. We are talking about a VF-1 toy that is equal if not more advanced/complex as the 1/48 back in a smaller package. More parts in smaller sizes equals greater chance of breaking a part.

I can't believed I missed this! This what I get for working during the holidays. I have mixed feeling about this. I think what I invested in the 1/48 line. I like the 1/48. I liked the look of it in all modes and the size. The old VF-1 just looked dinky. Looked fine in fighter mode but just plain ugly in battroid mode. This new design seems much better but can Yamato make such a wonderful VF-1 at that size? If they can will it be sturdy or fragile? I still love the 1/48! Too be won over I'll need Yamato to release more than 1 at a time or least in a different order.

You guys spend too much time noticing things. The episode is okay I guess. Character designs still on the sucky side. I still hate that fadded dull colors of modern anime look. Story doesn't seem all that original. Series just like a big tribute to DYRL and Macross 7.

I watched part of that show as well. Then I changed the channel. Anime shown were all dubbed. Titles mentioned were the English Versions. Experts and Commentators were just a bunch of American Schmucks. There use to be a time when we didn't talk about Live Action Macross. Find the old topic about the Robotech Movie and talk about that there. I'm changing the channel.

No f*ck no not Heavy Duty!!!!! Heavy Duty was some average but semi-interesting Joe figures from 1991. Back in 2000 Hasbro decided to make Heavy Duty a featured character. He several toys made. He sort an successor to Road Block. I think the fans want Road Block but Hasbro kept pushing heavy duty.

It sucks to visit Disneyland that time of year. It is just too damn hot. They want to charge you a arm and a leg for drinks. The lines are too long and last time I think I sat in a ride that some one pissed in. I was wearing shorts and got this burning rash on my leg afterwards! What does this have to do with the MW Con? Nothing really. Just want to bitch that California tourist sites while fun aren't that great during the peak season. The same peak season that involves higher hotel rates. I vote for May or September!

Update on my new TV. Last night I when out and bought a HDMI cord for my PS3 and popped in that Free blu-ray Copy of Pearl Harbor that I've got. Yes the movie still stinks but watching the action scenes in 1080p makes it look "good". My PS3 games looked unbelievable. I also upgrade my cable to get HD service. Found out even though I had dozens of channels I had to go up a level just to get the HD service. I hate Comcast and their damn levels of service. $6.5 extra became $16.50+ extra. I also hate that when I arrived to pick up my new cable box. They weren't interested in helping me unless I had pulled off a ticket number. WTF do I need one for I'm the only person waiting? Then someone made a mistake with my HD service over the phone. They gave me the wrong package. They gave me the super premium one that they were trying to talk me into. The one with all the premium movie channels and every cable channel offered! I decided to test it out for a day before I'll call them back. My observations? A lot of the cable HD channels are just the same channels. I have a set that can do 16:9 Wide screen and 1080P but the premium channel HD movies look better at 4:3 setting. This leaves a ton of black area on the screen. My TV manual suggests that I limit the times I do this. I'll get much better results with renting movies then these channels.

Lucky for me there is a thread on the AV forum about this series & people have shared their setting on it.

Real Fast Took the plunge and bought a LNT4069FX from Best Buy had to do a lot of persuasion to get them price match. I couldn't find the ad with lower price from the other store. BB called up the store to confirm things (I pre-called as well). BB told me that other store charges an extra $200 on top of the price I mention. I could swore the ad never said anything like that. Then it hit me. BB like all retailers keep other stores ad. I told them. Check you conference or breakroom. You have the other's guys ad for reference. I got them to then match the price of $1400. $600 less than BB wanted to charge me. BB then tried to pad the deal. $300 service to caliberate your picture experience. I decided to take my chances on my own. I did buy the extended warranty. I'm disapointed that my PS3 doesn't automatically come with the right cables for HD.

Best Buy workers know Sh*t. Went to browse at the model at BB and compare it to other on my list. A HDTV salesman came up and asked if I had any questions. I said I heard that some Samsung TV have a tearing problem? He never heard of such a thing. Funny Samsung offical FAQ even talks about it. That model isn't on Samsung list of TVs susceptible to the tearing problem. I guess fix it with firmware if it does happen. You think the salemans would have heard of it. Gonna try to find the ad I saw to see if can BB to price match. They are closer and I might to buy an extended warranty.

I found a store just by openning the news paper that had one the top sets my list for $1400 Samsung LN-T4069FX http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-tvs/sam...15.html?tag=sub That is about $500 off of Best Buys sale price & $100 off Amazon's. I think the sale last till Tuesday. At $1400 is that a good buy for such a set?

Saw it on IMAX Great visuals of the empty city. Good tense moments. The Infected people CGI looked a bit off. When you first see them they are together in a corner. They were acting weird. My first thought was. Do they have Will Smith's dog? I couldn't see a dog but they doing something weird. OMG are they ganging rapping his dog or just all jacking off together? They never showed what they were doing but Will Smith captures a female and I don't recall seeing any more infected females. The leader of them (none of them talked) seem to out to get Will Smith. Maybe she was their only female. Okay so now that you are disgusted. It was PG-13. I wouldn't take kids to see it or 13 years olds. No Zombies, Dogs or Will Smith are rapped on camera. Will did a good job acting in it. 3 Years alone and he's going a bit insane. Good movie but could been a lot better by being about 30 minutes longer. As soon he find some more normal people there is final battle the next day. It just ends too soon. Like they ran over budget and had to cut things short. There is gag in the movie. You see a billboard for a Batman/Superman Movie.

Confess you're a dirty message board whore! I'll confess as well. Macross World isn't the forum I visit in a single day. Only two boards do I use the "Roy Focker" handle. I post on no more than 5 boards a day. I lurk on maybe twice that many a week. Surfing the internet I stumble across even more message boards. What do I find there? Some familiar handles. Many of the most active daily posters here some how find the time be just as active on multiple boards on a day. Do you people have jobs? Okay maybe you do but doesn't your employer expect you too work?
