    I'm trying to remember the title of a sci-fi movie. I can't remember the title but I'll never forgot the premise. It from the early to mid 1980's. Some cosmic events kills off nearly every human over night. It features 2 teenage girl and possibly one of their kid brothers. They lived because they were in a car. The metal body protected them. One of the girls prior to the event was trying to beat a video game. The 2 (or 3) of them are the only ones left alive. I think they encounter aliens or something. I saw this movie once years ago but can't remember the title or who even acted in it. Any idea?

    How about defrosting for just one week every year. Face it there are only so many major news stories and good movies per year. Only really of week worth of stuff worth doing per year.

    Finished watching Zeta Gundam today. Incredible story, design and animation. Anime reached perfection in the 80's.

    I bought that WWE game. Play around with a bit and an hour ago went online to wrestle some random stranger. When the person's created characters looks like some demon lord you know this maybe an interesting experience. Last night I lost one match and the rest were draws to a variety of players. His guy must play this character all day and night. I got bored and just pressed nothing after a while. I don't think he figured out that I stopped playing.

    The real winner? Standard DVDs Low prices! I don't see a large HD or Blu-Section at Block Buster! Commericals still feature the DVDs. It is only at the end does a VO announce "Also avaliable on Blu-Ray and High Def"! More DVD presence at stores. When I go to a big box electronic store I see a huge section for HD TVs. Old tube TV are still there but not in a featured section. HD TV are being pushed people are buying them. Do you see stores pushing the HD format movies the same way? In the movie section I still see the focus on DVDs.

    Well the paper looks nice. Did you ever think about having the valks raised above the clouds on a stand instead of laying them on top? Feathers IMO is still a odd idea it will look better if the Valks appear to be flying over them. Right now it just like a bed of feathers. The expression less is more holds true.

    Are you? Call Alpo frustated, dull, emo or anything else the point is right now Alpo ain't that interesting. Maybe if you feel a connection to depressed and moody pretty boys then he's the boy for you. What happen to more upbeat characters? It is just a reflection of the times? Are today's teens all like Alpo? Are they all frustrated and they will relate to him or is he there for the little girls.

    Yeah but does he have to be withdrawn moody about it? What about him being passionate and driven? I want to share this desire with Alpo. I want a hero with some emotion.

    I agree with you 100% Especially the characters. Look at the male lead Alpo. He's got the same boring moody nature that Shin has. What happen to likeable heroes? Hikaru had plenty of reasons to be a aloof loner but Hikaru saw the glass half full, Isamu was full of life, Gamlin was trying to act mature and serious but you could like. You could tell he was human. Look at Alpo. A quiet, pretty boy, loner. What is there to like about him? Why should I even care about him? Maybe as the series progress he'll become more interesting but right now who cares. Little girls maybe? Just because Alpo looks like a girl doesn't mean has has to act like a pussy. Still it is only the first episode.

    News of the VF-1 in 1/60 makes me sick of it. I still think the VF-1 is the best design but it has been done before. The 1/48 looks pretty good. What could we have gotten if the resources that were placed in a upgraded VF-1 1/60 were instead placed in something that wasn't done before?

    Oh come on people. Even Dante74 who tries to be nice just says it's "Original". That is like saying the fat girl has a great personalty. You're all trying to make head or tail features out it. To make it worst he says that he needs to add more feathers. MORE!!!!!!! I for one can't stand for senseless murders of Show Girls. Sure some get old and only look good if you sit in the back of the room but they are still god living creatures. He's got two very expensive toys that are mostly covered up with feathers. I don't care if it is cotton, fabric, clay, feathers or beef hearts there is just too much of it. The "setting" is just over powering what is featured. The feathers are the real stars of the display.
