The other day I was playing around doing screen grabs. Went to my Macross Frontier fold. Did a semi fast-forward of the last episode. On its own it is good episode. Does kinda have that Macross feel. There are good episodes (not all just the heavy mecha action) but I think Frontier could be trimmed to just 3 hours to tell a better story.

Rest assured we are working very hard to bring Robotech the Master Piece Collection to Your Local Target Store. You can afford these new toys even while making $13 an hour.

Why does Macross sux compared to Robotech the Shadow Chronicles?

Here it is......... I was at the library today. Amazing right? I checked out a very special DVD! Yes it is true - Roy Focker has finally seen Robotech the Shadow Chronicles! I can't believe it either. I swore this would only happen if it was for free. I only have good things to say. Not only are the mechanical designs top notch but the Computer Graphics are too die for. I just gotta have a Children of the Shadow Mecha! The character designs. Don't get me started. I just love cleavage on men and women. Each character designs fits them perfectly. I always pictured Vince looking like he's from Nepal. Admiral Hunter. Wow! I can't reconignize him. Smart move! Reusing the same VO actors for multiple roles and not having them alter their voice. Man! Great writing to boot. No way in hell would a newbie to Robotech not understand this story. I have to watch it again and again! It had my complete and undivided attention. I swear to god that I wasn't googling, eating or playing with toys during the time. Why did I wait all these years. I'm done with Macross. I hate it with my very being. Robotech to the Rescue!

It has been well over a year since I bought a Macross toy. First it was by choice. Saw nothing that I had to have. Then saw plenty of great things to come later. Reduction of work hours prevents me from actually buying. A couple hundred dollars on Macross Toys could also be a couple hundred for a vacation, to pay off debt, to save if I lose my job completely. I still treat myself but to small stuff of no more than $60 (Video Game price or less). All these treats are domestic toys. Any import from Japan comes with an average $20 of shipping charges. Even if I see a $20 Macross Toy I can't justify spending 100% of its value in shipping cost. I gotta get the most for my buck and right now that excludes Macross.

I agree with that Roy Fokker guy. Do you get the idea about what the Feedback forum is about? It is about how the site and boards are working. You'd expect a good portion of this feedback would be technical related or general questions. Instead people use to it complain about things they feel they are owned. It is so unfair. I pay nothing to visit this place and someone asks me not to put my feet on the coffee table. What a bunch of big meanies. Someone got fight for our rights on this privately owned and operated forum. Writing a Post...

I'm not really a fan of anime. I enjoy a few shows, like the anime style of art but majority of stuff doesn't do it for me. I came into Macross F with no big expectations. Macross 7 and Macross Zero came before. You gotta have an open mind. I least wanted a good story. Yes it was there but it was buried under so much filler. Not sure if they even knew what direction they were going. If you want hot and current stuff. It is all there. I use the words "hot" and "current" as what is hot and current in Anime only. Not sure of Frontier's lasting value or ability to cross over to gain fans outside of Anime fans.

Ah but neither Picard or Rikker looked or dressed like a girl. That requires your own imagination to even come with the idea of them being together. Frontier gives you all the building blocks. There was fanservice before in Macross but not as much nor did it flirt with every taboo. What ever your thing, is Macross F(an Service) got you covered.

I don't think there is soft core hentai in the show. They just provide plenty of characters, situations for you to run off and create your own. If you've got a fanboy fetish for A, B or C. Macross Frontier is guilty of just capitalizing on it by providing fan service after fan service.
