... Better than last episode. I spent a week at sea with a bunch of nujbs. It was a much better episode. It's still unclear what ultimate goal grace has but i predicted lots more death of Frontier citizens... they lost 1 out of how many cyclinders so far?

with the advent of the last episode of ENT, dear Azrael, there could be another fear that people may or may not have about open-ended situations about chars we hold dear: it was all on the holodeck/was a movie in a movie....

OH? Do tell, please (I'm curious) When exactly did he make that remark? i was under the assumption that his remark was reaction to some BS related to Robotech, or some odd question there of. For MACII, i thought he declined to work for them, though the possible reason he would? i could only guess but avoiding getting type cast makes perfect sence from a employee perspective. Now with that in mind, go look at the VF/VA-14 & and the VA-3... do they really fit the macross Valkyrie mold or do they fit molds comparing to stand alones like Mospeada's Legios/Treant, Southern Cross's what ever they originally called the hover tanks and go-bot copters, or Orguss's nutty mecha... plus when i keep hearing about his comment, basically saying they're dead (Hikaru & Co) i think of Gene Rodenbury and his ST '2 nacelle rule' after the fuss with the JF estate about his 70's cheesy book designs (The Saladin/Scout/Potenkin/Dreadnaught designs)... i wonder when Paramount or GR's estate will forget about that bullcrap ruling....

I VOTED 3, even though i only seen just clips atm. Yes, the Varja seem more or less the threat and far more the oppressed beings. but the sh... crappy part of the episode, even just from Youtube clips? the blatant reuse of stock photage? this is already as bad as Macross-7, as far as this type of laziness goes by production. i mean, 2 iconic varja missled deaths within a minute of each other? i'm still interested in the direction of the series, but visually? they are lossing me FAST....

I like that design of the 24. at first glance i said 21/22, because of the big wide (F-15E wide) wings. but with the shield on the aft end of the fusalage, the 24 gets it's linage from both the 19 and 22. Was the 24 ever built or flown?

ok.... ok.... ok... i'm gonna eat some crow. That pic, without much doubt, is a NMC ship (you can see the barrels on the Gunship portion of the vessel clearly)... nice enhancement.

another thing. have they even said there IS a battle 25? they already have the hero ship (Macross Quarter) but have they said the fleet has it own battle fortress? that bow deal may or may not be vessel at all.

JUST CHALK IT UP TO... uh, events occuring off carmera, i guess. questions about the planet formally round: does it still have an atmosphere? (probably not but what remains likely isn't class-M anymore. Any survivors? (i'm asking from the angle of posts placed elsewhere on the planet). what's gonna become of the planet now, besides a new lopsided orbit?

Oh Reily? Hmm, guess so (won't know for sure until someone pops the eng subs) but if you're correct, that opens a huge... discontinuity to proceger. Like the charge of Friendly Fire (vs Alto, 3 charges?) destruction of goverment property (1 VF-25 series Gunpod, 1 Gitmo class Carrier, damage to a friendly, damage to a warship (SDF-4)... but did Brera say he was taking Ranka as a prisoner, though? maybe i'm reading too deep...

Well... i still done speak spanish but watching the eps (s) makes me think, 1. Brera claims on open channels that Macross Galaxy claims Ranka as a POW, effectively. That one act alone makes certain that Galaxy has survived it's battle with the Varja (perhaps to the point of been faked?) and is now possibly a FOE. 2. The Varja, violently so, are pawns of MG. To what extent? TBD, but really doesn't matter, unless you're aim is peace. But not enough information in the right hands is availible. Recapture Ranka, and you can steer the story line towards peace. if not, hope MF makes more reaction ordinance. in fact, that makes me wonder what of the surviving MG shipo that reached MF (as well as the pilot of the recon flight at the end of Eps 6.). are they POW's now? they leave? loyaly's divided and suspect, at the very least... oh yeah, uh, VF-171 Nightmare II mechapr0n: I came. Nothing says love like big MF nukes that say "Me loves You! kinda. Now, die, yes?"

There's a lot of clever reuse of foatage. Right before the fleet's main barrage, they pilot view from Nene, The Dr Rabbit and Luca last. some one get a screenie of luca when the HUD image of Skull-One pops up. i'll wager you scene the HUD image from Eps 1 (Folk's need to have backbone when they fight these guys)...

i think the point of the name on the pill was to imply it WASN'T Motrin XL or 300 mg's of Asprin. Enough with the slander otherwise, ladies... Well, my take of Grace's actions is very Jihadist in nature (certainly something new to Macross: Muslim tendicies for self-invicted irrational violence)... Regardless, of who or how this Kamjin-Clone is to the story line, it's more proof that all isn't well in the Macross Universe... but we're assuming the appaerent rebellion is martial in nature and not political. This could be much more... or just a one shot to show some VF vs Zentran mecha action... even with the gender bending mecha...

there probably won't be. Simply because the VF-171 are CF, plus unlike SMS which might have only a few elements that make up a couple squadrons total (If not considered a composite squadron with the Q-L's, the KM and all the VF-25's under one hat), the NUSN probably has dozens of individual squadrons & wings, for each carrier in the fleet (assuming the NUNS is organised via Naval Avaition rules. Macross has always been translated, to me, to mirror AF rank structure...) It would make sence to go navy but either way, the NUNS is very complicated numerically...

you of course are assuming that the entire Zero series was filmed. if this is the story of Sara & Shin, perhaps from the POV of Mao & survivers... then the whole movie might look a hella lot different (since Mao never met Roy Fokker nor Nora or DD or anyone else from UN Spacy save the SH-60B crew, the infantry squad (or could they have been marines? the Destroid pilots on Asuka were...) and later, the destroid pilots on the island when the octo's attacked.... or not. I forget that in foreign languages, marine means navy, example spanish and italian naval militaries. does marine equat to navy in japanesse, thus why the pilot shin duels on the Asuka in Eps 2 is referd to Sea-grunt or something?... whut eva.
