    I just find it hilarious that the artist thought that it was a good idea to have the wings wide out inside the hangar? That's gonna be a bitch to move those birds to the bay door like that...

    Well its possible to explain that (the Grissom with it's NCC-838 as a refit from a previous class, kinda like how the Constellation's NCC-1017 [which we all know was simply because the model kit company didn't include extra numbers to allow the film model any variety] was refit into a Constitution-class from a previously unknown vessel type).

    Do you mean like how the USAF numbers their Aircraft (The Year the frame was build - the position number in that calendar year in all the air frames built for that Calendar year? (as opposed to the Navy, who's number system is literally shows how many AC they have ever build, regardless of the year)

    But how many? Consider this: Emperor Sato would still have to deal with consolidating her rule long before the idea of letting techs onboard to start decoding the secrets of HOW the UPF Star Fleet built the Constitution-class. They would have to create the infrastructure involved in the shipyard building process, the logistics to support the effort and be able to preform the work without duress (other than the normal duress the Mirror-Fleet would self inflict, of course): Still gotta smite them pesky Vulcans, Andorians and the like in-line. Sure the Mirror Ent was ISS-1701 but I'll be betting a pound of Dylithium the ISS number was more of a play to spoof their enemies (as opposed to Star Fleet actually having built 1700+ vessels over the course of the Star Fleet's existence at the time of TOS)

    has there been ANY word trailer-wise for this film?

    it really depends on the rating they are seeking. Gunmn can be very visceral (to show just how humanity is cheap, for example)... it'll be challenge to make it look as close to the manga as possible without making it rated R (i personally suspect they will clearly aim for PG-13 because that trailer pulls some major heart strings = as many female butts they can get into the seats).

    Random thoughts/questions: 1) Is there a Japanese/Overseas version of the A:BA trailer? 2) What is the typical Japanese opinion of the upcoming 2018 film?

    Can they? The reboot comic from the previous decade, did NOT have much in common with the 80's Marvel Comic storyline (which was, admittedly a glorious ripoff of Star Wars) because of licensing issues as IRC...

    are you referring to the ghost dude or the Britia reference to a previous Mars Base Sara engagement? I though MBS was depopulated during the AUN war?

    since 2009, at least. His Avatar crew was touring military units at the time and he visited Dwight D. Eisenhower while we were on our 2009 War cruise. Gunmn was a huge deal to him, as IRC... I'm stoked for this.

    maybe.... but I'm sure the suits insisted on the Andy Head Dress simply because it was cheaper to made a bridge tree mold than a entirely different main body mold :/

    it's because Shin Godzilla isn't a lizard (per se) as opposed to previous Godzilla's which was originally some kind of lizard (prehistoric 1954 G, an irradiated Iguana from 1998's Deanzilla, to an actual T-Rex-zilla from the 90's films). Your guess is as good as mine to what creature SG was originally... maybe a fish because of those eyes?
