Don't worry about partying until you get to lvl 11 or 12. As for hunting, early spend time in the mines or in South Gustaberg right around Bastok... As you move up in level, move out. The further you go from Bastok, the tougher the baddies to you. And be sure to ALWAYS /check or /c EVERYTHING. Don't mess with Quadavs until they check Decent, because they aggro. Vostok 7
