  1. Indeed, but it would go against convention since the -25F has a "J" style head. Kawamori seems to keep to his conventions as he can. The -0S had only two cannons but at least it looked like an S-style head. The -25S has a quad-cannon head. I asked about CFs because of the -25G having the A-style head but not being a proper cannon fodder. Sounds like the "-25A" should be the G's head without all the fancy sniper equipment. I hope Bandai comes out with more of the models. I don't see why they wont, unless they hate Macross. They can release every single variation of Gundam seen and unseen, so it wouldn't kill them to make stuff like the Full Armor -25S and the CFs. Vostok 7
  2. YMMV I suppose. All the Yamatos and other goodies I've hauled through check baggage have survived pretty well. I've managed to get some crazy stuff through check baggage, including the infamous MSIA Dendrobium Vostok 7
  3. Well, I'm selling my VF-0S I will be getting a VF-0A. But I'm tempted to get the YF-21 or the SV-51a "CF" since those are both on my "short list", they're just awful expensive Vostok 7
  4. Probably already been discussed, but is there a "CF" version of the VF-25? I noticed the VF-25G has a -0A-style head. I like the idea of a sniper-specialty VF, though Vostok 7
  5. I don't have a V2 1/60 yet but my VF-0S is one of my favorite of my valks, even with it's "issues" (mine doesn't like being in Battroid mode, but that's OK, I prefer fighter modes on everything anyway ). I'm considering selling it and getting a CF VF-0A and the camo Ghost, though. I've never been one for the "flashy" paint schemes and I prefer the -0A head style. Vostok 7
  6. Probably already discussed, but how do these rank in detail and features compared to the Gundam kits? Seems like from what I've heard they are inbetween an HG and an MG? Vostok 7
  7. Old Bandai model instructions were linearts, but I too have noticed the switch to CAD models for the instructions in a couple of the newer Gundam models I have. I agree, makes it very very hard to make out whats going on. I have a Mega Bloks (LEGO derivative) Zaku kit that uses poor contrast CAD drawings for instructions too and it really sucks. Watching this thread because I'm interested in the new VF-25 models but want to see the nitty gritty of one before I pick it up. Vostok 7
  8. The Hs 129 was a tail dragger. The main gear were in the engine nacelles, with just a small tailwheel for support. Dunno how it works on the VF-27, but I like the design Vostok 7
  9. I remember my 1/72s. I waited for them for sooooo long through the Harmony Gold debacle, had my pre-order with Kevin Lam. After finding out the US wasn't getting the Mac+ toys, I hooked up with a guy here on Macrossworld who had a shop in Singapore. He was going to give me a good deal on a couple of the valks. My dad had to go to Singapore on business and he picked them up for me. Ended up getting the whole set and even a free surprise gift (an old tiny MAXL model kit) from him. Unfortunately, I can't remember that guys name... It's right there at the edge of my tongue but I can't remember. Anyhoo, that was the start of the obsession. I picked up a ton of the 1/60s when they first came out, and even a 1/48 (I collected more 1/60s than 1/48s mostly because of size, price and aesthetics). I've had some pretty rare pieces, I had the limited TRU 1/60 VF-1A Cannon Fodder, as well as the limited 1st ed. 1/48 VF-1A Low Viz. I'm definitely going to get some of the new 1/60s at some point. 10. Well, the prototype suffers from Gashapon disease so I think it is FIX-style unfortunately. I don't want to spend $50 on something that has Gashapon disease like a $1 egg toy These things should be HCMPro or SHCMPro quality, no less. Vostok 7
  11. Geez, 9 years? And to think, I've been here for most of that I don't know if that's a good thing... Vostok 7
  12. Millia who? Vostok 7
  13. MUUUUCH better than the old 1/72 VF-11B. This might be on my short list. Unfortunately the upper rear fins are still quite small But it looks good otherwise. Vostok 7
  14. How are these things so cheap? Is there going to be a -1A Fodder, -1A Low Viz or -1D? If so those will be MUST BUYS as far as I'm concerned. But geez, for ~$80 a pop for these, they seem like a bargain especially considering the non-transforming Destroids are the same price Vostok 7
  15. And the jacking off on doorknobs Vostok 7
  16. Yeah, if you've ever played a realistic WWII sim, you know how retardedly hard it is to dogfight with only machine guns. Vostok 7
  17. Hahaha, indeed. I can envision the post now. You could almost smell the testosterone and ambiguously gay Arnold Schwarzenegger love. Vostok 7
  18. Well, you know what, they actually don't claim a scale. I know they are bigger than regular MSiAs though. Vostok 7
  19. Extended MSiA (he said (E)MSiA) are 1/144 scale. Vostok 7
  20. Mmmm Meltrandi. 12) He's a Bishonen? Vostok 7
  21. Ew. I doubt there will be a Turn-A HCMP. Considering there's been little to no activity in the way of Turn-A toys and models so far. Vostok 7
  22. Considering Heavyarms is the only Wing design that I really like, I'll probably be getting it. Hopefully they make a Heavyarms Custom as well. I'll probably get he Tieren Space-type as well even though I'm not a huge fan of the head And the Gouf Custom is on my list too. As far as other "should-dos", I was just thinking about my Xamel suggestion and I think the best way they could do it is make it convertible to a Hildorfr, since they are clearly related. Then they could make the Zaku Gunner and Zaku Rangefider from Gundam Secret Weapons. Vostok 7
  23. My big complaint with the EVA-01 is the hands, they like to pop out all the time. But they hold the weapons OK. Also, the balls on the sword hands seem to be a little small and don't like to stay in, but that's fixable. Just the way the hands are held on the arms could have been a little better, but I suppose the way they are done allows some decent flexibility you can't get from a standard socket like on a Gundam HCMP. The elbows tripped me up too I had to look at them a few times before I even realized they ~could~ move I kept looking at the box like "Geez, it shows the elbow flexing but it sure doesn't look like it can! Oh! I'm an idiot, and that's really cool!" Vostok 7
  24. Yeah, I love my HCM-Pro Tieren. The LC mode is awesome. I get tempted to get new MSIAs every now and then but I'm moving now to just holding out for HCM-Pro versions. They're just so much better. Pretty much any more I stick to MGs, selected HGUCs and now HCM-Pros. I'm just sad I ignored the HCM-Pros for so long I picked up one of the Evangelion HCM-Pros the other day, EVA-01 from Rebuild. Pretty impressive. Some things about it could be better, but it's nicely poseable and came with an insane amount of extra stuff which is always cool. Vostok 7
  25. Vostok 7

    Macross Revoltech

They did release the Millia figure set to go with it. Yeah, not very poseable but it was better than what came with the Q-Rau. Vostok 7
