  1. At this point I'm betting that the mustard thing was just a ruse to try to prove the "absurdity" of our arguments. Either that or he just likes to see the things he types. See: Most of his responses in the Yamato is Greedy thread for reference. Vostok 7
  2. Wow, the VF-22S and VF-0C are gorgeous. I wish I had more modeling skills Vostok 7
  3. Still, 28,000 JPY seems excessive for a naked figure, considering a Takara 1/6 figure fully decked out with just as much articulation costs that much. Vostok 7
  4. I think, but I'm just guessing here, that the point was HG's Fascist control of Macross doesn't seem to extend much into Europe, hence they were able to make a nice Macross DVD set in France. Or something? Vostok 7
  5. Ahhhh Sunwards. We barely even knew ye. $50 1/60 VF-1s would have been really really nice. Thanks HG/Toynami. I'm glad your MP line was so up to par. Oh, and I've hereby dub Roger the King of Circular Logic. Just look in the "Is Yamato Greedy?" thread. Vostok 7
  6. Mmmm Nora, Ishtar, C.C., no Millia? Come on now. Vostok 7
  7. Uh oh, don't think the partsformer haterists are going to like those pictures. Vostok 7
  8. Yeah, I was thinking the same. 1 to 90 isn't very good Hopefully the sale will be around for a little while. Vostok 7
  9. *sigh* The days of rabid Toynami/Harmony Gold hating Macross fans are long gone. Those were the days. It's a new era, not welcome for dinosaurs like me. A kindler, gentler, Robotech-apologizing era. Vostok 7
  10. Wow indeed, an SV-51 CF for under $200 shipped? I'm tempted! Vostok 7
  11. I still say they're Toynazi. And I know Kevin was sent a nasty letter by HG back in the day. As far as spideyjerusalem, everyone just assumes he made off with the money. He never let everyone know what was going on. He seemed like a good guy to me, I don't know why he would have taken off with everyone's money. Vostok 7
  12. You've obviously got no idea what we as a community have been through because of TOYNAZI. Yes, I will say TOYNAZI again because that's exactly who they are. In 2002, Toynazi and Whoremoney Gold went out of their way to SUE several respected members of this board who had small collector-focused toy companies for selling and even listing imported Macross toys as being for sale. Most of them went out of business because of this (Blasto! Toys, Valkyrie-Exchange), putting good people who were Macross fans and only helping the Macross community out of business simply because they wanted to strong arm their position as the only outlet for Macross/Robotech. And here they are doing it again, now, to bigger retailers. And trust me, there's no hypocrisy with me. I NEVER have supported a Toynazi/Whoremoney Gold product, save for a couple things I bought that they made before the **** hit the fan in 2002 (a super (non)posable VF-1A CF and some of their super-deformed Alphas). Their products SUCK, and I would never give them a PENNY even if they were begging for one on a corner somewhere. Yes, there are other places to get these products. But Toynazi/Whoremoney Gold has made it painfully obvious that they only care about stopping grey imports of Macross products at whatever cost. What's next, suing everyone on this board who's posted a collection photo that includes Macross products not sold by them? Suing people who are selling Macross products inside the US on eBay and these forums? I mean, that's the next logical progression of their strong-arming. They've long proved that they're practically the RIAA of Macross products, it wouldn't surprise me at all. Vostok 7
  13. Either way it's unnecessary strong arm tactics from the Toynazi/Whoremoney Gold companies we all know and love. I mean, really, how much do you think Yamato takes away in sales from them? They both have so many loyal fans, it's only the Macross purists who they are pushing away. And their attempts to get them back just totally suck (1/100s, for instance). Good job Toynazi/Whoremoney Gold, 5-6 years since the last time, most people were willing to forget (or just didn't know as evidenced by this and the other thread). Now you've pissed off a whole new "generation" of people. Vostok 7
  14. Yeah, I was going to say, deja vu. Vostok 7
  15. He's probably saying he's hoping for a Shivering Isle-sized DLC. The current three planned are apparently Knights of the Nine sized according to information we got (that equates to about 5-6hrs of content, vs. 10+ for Shivering Isle-sized content). I too hope we get a bigger more encompassing DLC at some point as well, like a whole new area the size of the DC wasteland to explore Vostok 7
  16. Ahhh gotcha. I'm sure someone will mod it but others have wondered if it won't be expanded with DLCs since we don't know what they are going to do quite yet. It's bothered a lot of people though so I'm sure someone will mod it. Vostok 7
  17. You mean Vault 87's main door? The one that's highly irradiated? There's definitely stuff in Vault 87, you just have to get to it from another direction Vostok 7
  18. Hey guys, I'm looking for a accurate, relatively high-poly (but game-friendly) 3D model of the Protect Gear armor from the Kerberos Saga. .3DS format would be best. Included textures would be icing on the cake. I would prefer if it was based off of the rendition of the Protect Gear Takara has been releasing lately as 1:6 figures because I think that looks the best. (this one: http://www.hlj.com/product/TKT69275) I'm looking to make a mod with this armor to put it into the game Fallout 3 because I think it would be awesome in it Obviously the mod would be free so I can't pay anything but definitely credit would be given. Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I had no clue where else to put it Vostok 7
  19. Ahhhhhh *taps nose slyly* Vostok 7
  20. I'm confused. What's wrong with it? Vostok 7
  21. The G.E.C.K. (previously known as the TES Construction Set) was released today! http://fallout.bethsoft.com/eng/downloads/geck.html Vostok 7
  22. Sorry, but that was the first thing I thought too. We're terrible. Vostok 7
  23. Wow, that looks WAY better than the prototype. The Gashapon Disease is gone! The sculpt looks OK to me in fighter mode (where the Chogokin DX lacks). Vostok 7
  24. Yeah, I still want to see them make a VF-0D or VF-0B. Or both, since the VF-0B would be easy to make once they've done the -0D. Vostok 7
  25. What do you mean "same old". It's completely different than the old 1/60 -1D, and actually pretty close to line-art. Yeah, I hate to say it, but I preferred the old "mosquito nose" on the original 1/60 VF-1D. The new one looks a little stubby. But it's not terrible, I'll still get one because I luvs me some two-seaters. It's been said that the stubby-ish nose is actually more correct (which is why the 1/48 was also "stubby nosed" compared to the 1/60). The problem is, the long canopy on the -1D accentuates the shortness of the nose on the new sculpt where on the old one it looked "just right" while the single-seaters looked long and spindly. I have to admit, I've always liked Hasegawa's take on the -1D: Vostok 7
