Nope, sorry, that's not an Avenger, just one that guy came up with. The Avenger I posted, the first image is from the Star Wars website (originally it was seen on the Star Wars CCG card for the Avenger, the Avenger first appeared in this form in the original TIE Fighter video game), the second image is from one of the later video games (X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter or X-Wing Alliance). That's the established design for the "TIE Advanced/Avenger", though I prefer the first design over the second one I posted which has the "squashed" cockpit. Here's the Wookiepedia (canon) entry: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/TIE/ad_starfighter And the Starwars.com (meaning: Official) entry: http://www.starwars.com/databank/starship/...nger/index.html The one LSB posted reminds me of a cross between the TIE Raptor (non Imperial design, http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/TIE/rpt_starfighter) and the Nssis-class Clawcraft used by the Chiss (Thrawn's race) (Also a non-Imperial design, http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/TIE/rpt_starfighter), but it's definitely a non-canon creation. Edit: It's also similar to the TIE Hunter which WAS an Imperial TIE. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/TIE_Hunter Vostok 7

I don't know why but I love the TIE Bomber too But yeah, the Avenger is so cool. Much cooler than Darth's TIE Advanced X1 (which is the early predecessor of the Avenger). It just looks so elegant. I like the Defender because it's crazy deadly, but it looks rather cumbersome compared to the elegant "Super Interceptor" look of the Avenger. I spent WAY too much time playing TIE Fighter as a young'n. Vostok 7

Isn't that every Jason Statham movie? Vostok 7

 Anyone know about the Titanium line releasing a TIE Defender? I heard it was coming in an upcoming wave, just wanted to see if anyone had a confirmation or some pictures. Still waiting for someone to give some love to the proper non-egg cockpit TIE Avenger. I mean, the TIE Defender is cool and all, but the Avenger was always my favorite in TIE Fighter. That and the Missile Boat... Nothing like raining space bomb destruction on your nearest super Calamari Cruiser. This Avenger: Not this one: Vostok 7

Man I wish Yamato would make a VF-0D. I doubt it's ever happening though They've got all their irons in the 1/60 v2 fire. Vostok 7

I just want anything that's Macro-Klan. I'm not a lolicon. I like my uber-hot Meltrandi to be fully grown, thanks. Vostok 7

Ahhh, if only I could relive my wedding night... Vostok 7 -
Might as well tell a meth head to stop buying and using meth. I'm sure meth heads complain about the quality control on their meth too, but still buy it. Vostok 7

*GASP!* How! Dare! You! Anyhoo, to divert my bloodthirsty rage... Ruskii... Is that the Millia set Yamato made for the Q-Rau? I have that set. I never realized her behind is so... *ahem* shapely. And trust me, I look. Often. ...Did I just say that out loud? Vostok 7 -
Ahhhh. I still have a first run POTF Monkey Leia MOC. Man she was hideous. Vostok 7

And they seem to be doing something about it, considering there seems to be less and less breakage as its going on (going from TONS of breaks on the -1S to ONE for each subsequent release is a pretty good ratio from what I can see). Deeming the whole V2 1/60 line "not worth buying" just because a few have broken is EXTREMELY short sighted considering were just at the very infancy of the line itself. That's like writing off all SV-51s simply because a few Ivanovs had floppy wings. Vostok 7

But not strike packs!! It's been awhile since I watched DYRL so forgive me. Vostok 7

That's a nice thought, but I doubt it. Why would they sell the CFs with parts they were never seen having? I mean, it would be awesome and all, but still... Vostok 7

So they're switching the In Action!!! line to the New Material Technology? No more gashapon'd PVC? Geez, just when I decided that I was going to focus on ONLY the HCMPs. Vostok 7

I have the Zaku II and I wasn't impressed. Always wanting to fall apart, pieces don't fit together that great (a common trait with Mega Bloks unfortunately), not all that poseable IMO. Supposedly, though, they're coming out with a smaller RX-78-2 with an inner frame system that has much more posability. We'll see what becomes of that. Vostok 7

Once again (been discussed earlier in this thread), those aren't missile launcher bays on the Defender. The "covers" are actually ammo magazines. So they would have no need to swing up like on the Tomahawk. Pfft, forget the apple, I have this nice orange here... Vostok 7

I thought the Japanese court ruling stated Tats never truly owned the rights, or at least never had the right to sell the rights to a third party. Vostok 7

I like mine. I have Priss and have been wanting the green one for awhile now, just haven't gotten around to it. They are a touch on the fragile side, but look good in any mode just about. They tend to be a tad loose (mostly just the figure) but hold poses decently. I've never had it so loose it wouldn't hold a pose, it will do just about anything. Mostly just be careful with transforming and the like as it seems to be on the fragile side but all-in-all I like it a lot. Yowch, just looked at the picts of the Aoshima from that blog. The Aoshima's motoslave mode looks like a squatting pregnant gorilla! BLEGH! Give me the svelte Yamato any day. Vostok 7

I do really really like the box-art on the Beagle version, though. Vostok 7
