Seattle, eh? With enough financial motivation I could make our mutual problem... nullified... If you get my meaning. Vostok 7

Official Bandai 1/60 Scale DX Toy Thread Ver.4

There has to be SK-drawn lineart SOMEWHERE because I'm sure he didn't make the 3D models for the show None of it has been officially released yet, I guess. Vostok 7 -

So the anime shows the wings being straight, but side lineart shows the wings decidedly angling upwards. I thought this was discussed in one of the earlier DX threads and it was determined that angled/curved wings were "correct", if not anime correct, it's at least they way the Hoary Froating Head wanted them. I thought the upward curve was lineart accurate? Vostok 7 -

More than likely they will re-release the Alto and the Ozma with super packs. The Full Armor Ozma is going to be 18000 yen. We've known that for awhile now, it's been on pre-order at HLJ for some time. What's wrong with the wings? Vostok 7 -
I would assume so. Wouldn't hurt to try and see how they look! Not like ground crew sets are very expensive. Vostok 7

Yep, definitely a V1. Hopefully you didn't pay too much for it. Vostok 7

Ugh. Gashapon disease belongs on 100 yen Gashapon toys, not $50+ "collector" toys. I wish manufacturers would figure this out. That's one reason I hated the Gundam Fix line. MSIAs were livable since they were so cheap, but still, it really sets off the OCD in me. The boiling trick doesn't always fix it permanently, either. At least not for my hyper-critical OCD eye. It also can damage the paint, unless the color is completely molded in. Vostok 7

Well, if that's the case then hopefully they will get to the VF-27 and VF-171 after the Quarter is done. I certainly wouldn't mind having a VF-171EX Super Nightmare Plus in my collection Vostok 7 -
My guess is they're just cast from 1/72 ground crew models without scaling up. They look tiny next to any of the 1/60 pilots, even the pilots that come with the Destroids. The pilots from Mac0 are gargantuan compared to the ground crew, but they're on the large end of the pilot sizes anyway (the VF-0 pilot is very very nearly the size of a 1/48 VF-1 pilot!). The pilots from the v2 1/60 VF-1s seem to be the closest to true 1/60 and even then they tower over the ground crew figures. Someone would have to take some 1/72 ground crew and compare to the Destroid ground crew, but I think they'd be surprisingly similar in size. Vostok 7

The Full Armor Ozama is supposed to be out in June, and supposedly the movie will be around the same time. I wouldn't be surprised if after the Full Armor Ozama Bandai just starts resculpting for the movie (whatever that entails) rather than working on a VF-27 or -171. Vostok 7 -
The crew from the Destroids are already too small to be 1/60. Vostok 7

Maybe Klan Klan means Boing Boing in Zentran? Vostok 7

More than likely it's PVC. Some superglue will probably work for what you're trying to do. Vostok 7

Anyone know when the price drop is coming? Vostok 7

Geez. Makes me want to get another set just for the heck of it!! Vostok 7

Ah, the ever-classic and NEVER tired "If you think the Bandai sucks, then you MUST think Yamato is the best thing ever" argument. I think I'm gonna get the DX-25G for myself. I'm itching to get something new, and I want to jump on the whining bandwagon and be cool like everyone else! Vostok 7 -
He said a head taller than the 1/72 (ie, the model kit), which would put it just slightly slightly taller than the DX, which should be about right. Vostok 7

Mmmmm. I happen to like CM's "made up" Leigoss and their TREAD too, and the new heavy machine gun just seals the deal. I'll probably get at least one of the new sets. Vostok 7

Hahaha so true. You'd think that Seattle drivers would know how to drive in the rain, but invariably the first rain after any period without rain causes all the drivers on the road to become Californians Vostok 7

Didn't So-Cal see a tiny bit of snow this winter? Man, I can only imagine what would happen if So-Cal got some real snow. Even Seattle, which can get it's fair share, practically shuts down at the mere sight of snow. So-Cal-ers must think it's the Apocalypse or something Vostok 7
