Wow. That looks really really cool. Hopefully it doesn't suck! Almost has a touch of Half-Life 2 vibe to it. Maybe because the aliens look so much like Vortigaunts, and there's a strong "Combine" feel to the "control" ethic. Vostok 7

You're right, maybe even more of a Foliage Green (which is a more modern version of Olive Drab). Foliage: OD: Not the best of pictures, but Foliage is a bit lighter colored than OD. OD also has more brown overtones. Vostok 7

Hmmm. This does not bode well. It seems as if they're trying to pad the movie with bigger names. But why would they do that? The first movie did well enough they shouldn't need to resort to padding the film with big names to make it work. Don Cheadle is good but I just don't see him as War Machine material unfortunately. This may not be a thread about a particular dead horse, but there's definitely plenty of long dead horse beating going around here. Here's a hint, if you have a problem with a moderator (or the moderators as a group), take it up with Shawn and Graham (especially Shawn). This is Shawn's playground, he's put the mods in to place and told them what he wants them to do. You don't like that? Take it up with Shawn or leave. That's the brass tacks. Sitting and bitching about it constantly does absolutely NO good. If I had a freaking Yamato valks for every time I've seen a thread like this come up, I'd have several warehouses full of Yamato valks. And what are the outcomes? Usually massive waves of banning. Because in the end, this is Shawn's playground and he can do what he wants. There's another website I'm on dealing with "moderator issues". Here's the Admin's response to the issue, and I feel it's very applicable here as well: This was a game modding site, the specific issue was people would complain about mods by posting crap in the comments and rating the mods poorly for no good reason at all. Banning and moderating began, people complained about that. This was the answer. The same thing here, MacrossWorld doesn't have a constitution that gives rights to everyone. It's Shawn's (and the Moderator's) word or the highway. End of discussion. Vostok 7

I got my Klan Klan yesterday thanks to Save. Just opened it up today. Dang is she a big girl! I can definitely concur that she looks better in person than in pictures. Wife had a good laugh about her... Proportions... Now someone just needs to make a 1/60 Q-Rea to pose her next to! Vostok 7

Let's not forget here that the new movie is a reboot of TOS, where the Klingons played a somewhat minor role to the Romulans (accordingly, the Romulans are from what I understand, the main protagonists of the new movie). Let's not forget that in TOS the Klingons didn't even have a language yet or their classic appearance. None of that came until the first movie. So yeah, it is pretty nerdy (and somewhat misguided) to say it's stupid the new movie won't have any spoken Klingon. And then again, who really cares? Vostok 7

Picked up the big Light 'n' Sound Reboot Enterprise tonight at Wal Mart. I don't have any good AAAs though so I haven't tested the Light 'n' Sound part, but the toy is pretty detailed for what it is (certainly moreso than the older ones from other series). Lots of nice tampo printing, good detail, pretty good. I have to say, the Reboot Enterprise is a pretty interesting design. Not totally my thing (I prefer the early Movie ships, such as the Refit/A Enterprise, the Miranda-class ships, the Excelsior-class ships, etc. etc.), but it's nice. Definitely a lot of influence from the old TOS Enterprise there, for sure. Vostok 7
