Yeah, Xi is a lot of fun. Fun minigames there. There's themed spaces too for some games which have neat little interactivity or minigames. I don't know what it used to be like, since I've only had the PS3 for about a week, but I enjoy it. I used to spend a lot of time in Active Worlds way back when which was very similar (and one of the first, long before Second Life took the popularity crown). Vostok 7

BTW, anyone out there who pre-ordered Killzone 2 from Amazon and has the code for the Home costumes, and doesn't use Home (or ever plans to), please let me know. I'm willing to pay for that code! Vostok 7

Mostly just the opening scene when Kirk is born and everyone knows daddy is going to die. But then the weird nurse with the huge eyes kept throwing it off for me. Dunno, ever since I've had a kid, scenes like that really tug at me. I guess having a kid makes you a wussy Oh, and also the scene where Spock Prime is watching Vulcan be destroyed. Despite the physical improbability and all, it was still a pretty moving moment. Vostok 7

So I've been playing with my PS3 for the past couple days. I have to say, despite being a Xbox fan through and through, I really enjoy the PS3. The interface is nicer (especially compared to the Xbox NGE Wii-clone), Home is a nice touch (being an old school fan of 3D chat/explore programs), and I like that the shop uses real money rather than confusing "points". So far so good! Also, my PSN is Vostok7. Anyone can feel free to add me. Vostok 7

Um, maybe because in Europe and most everywhere else in the Civilized World it's illegal to drive in the left-most lane on a multi-lane highway unless you are actively passing? Just a thought. I know the Germans are sticklers about that law especially. I can understand the confusion since most of the US doesn't enforce it, but it is a law here too. Vostok 7

Hopefully CMs will release a Helldiver! That's what I'm hoping since I just bought a bunch of CMs Patlabor stuff. Vostok 7

The blurb says it was damaged during landing and then placed in the museum. Chances are the original engines were damaged (or removed to use in other planes?) and then mockups were put in to place. Great picts. Vostok 7

I'll tell you one thing, I'd much rather watch two and a half hours of the new Star Trek movie, with it's standard Sci-Fi flubs, than sit through any amount of time of late TNG/DS9/Voy/ENT (basically anything by B&B) where made up "super science" serves as a deus ex machina to solve every problem (this is one of the major reasons I prefer the original movies and TV show, not every issue was solved by shooting a "qullitrillium delta beam from the deflector shield" at it). Yep. It's not perfect, but it's not as chunky as older Playmates offerings. I don't have any of the Art Asylum ships to compare it to (though I really want their Refit Enterprise), though, so I can't say how it compares. I'm assuming you haven't seen the new movie yet? Because if you have you'd get it. Vostok 7

Yeah, I was holding out for a price drop but when Sony came out officially and said "not any time soon", I lost hope. Found a good deal and just decided to run with it. I was using hyperbole though because this is my history with the Playstation: Playstations 2s are $299 (this was ages ago), so I finally decided to get one. So I went and bought one, at $299. Within two months, they knocked them down to $199. Within a couple months of that they released the updated model with the quiet fan (the + model). I bought a JDM Ceramic White model (the one that came with GT4 Prologue) which had the quiet fan and other improvements, liked it a lot so I sold my old PS2 and decided to buy a new quiet one, at $199. What do you know, they came out with the Slim PS2 within a couple months of that This time I was smart though, I waited for the Slim PS2 to drop to $99 before I bought it. So yeah. PS pricing hates me. I assume that the PS3 will drop in price a few months before Christmas, that seems to be the usual price dropping time. Either that or they will come out with some good bundles for a reasonable price. Either way, the Xbox 360 has had like two price drops since the PS3's last price drop so they got to do something or they will keep losing sales. Vostok 7
